Guess I got some catching up to do!

Same here, May was horrible for me and for the times I did manage to run I never connected my Nike+ once. All good, back to work!

So the new Nike+ isn't up and working? I can't even connect or upload my runs right now.

Finally.

When I uploaded my run this morning it updated and downloaded a new software to my cpu.

New Nike+ website is up.
Anyone know of a way to switch my total runs to miles? They switched it up to KM and I just prefer it in miles.

Also can't find the challenges though, I know you couldn't create a new one but I thought you could still track the current ones though, unless I'm missing something.

Website looks better and moves much faster though with lots more info too. No bugs encountered yet *crosses fingers*.

How do you get to the challenges page? The link I used to  use doesnt work anymore

I think they got rid of the challenge page until it gets relaunched in Fall.

RFX45,
You can change the miles/kilometers under "My Account" at the top right of the Nikeplus site.

Then click on "Site Preferences" and click the appropriate button.

I'm glad the old is gone, and the new and improved is here!

PROs
+: The SPEED of the site
+: Shoe/Mileage tracker (!) Makes me want to pull out my old written logs and input my old data for each of my runs!
+: Nike Fuel complement. I've got a total of 516K so far... Pretty dope!
+: The three sub level milestones within the Color Levels
+: Lastest achievements
+: Comparison to other runners and the Nike+ Community
+: Challenge suggestions
+: GPS Route Match / Local Course Leaderboard

CONs
-: Calories have been replaced by Fuel
-: Challenges have been temporarily halted

-edit-
I just earned the "Sneaker Head" trophy for tagging three different shoes !

With the update of the site, I wonder if there'll be an update for the Nike+ apps to complement the site? Any word on this JD?

Thanks. Just checked and it was still on miles in the setting but still shows km for some reason.

Even the running levels are in KM.

I still think the site is going to be "buggy" for a while, I have to re-enter my login every time I visit the site.
I don't have any additional info other than what everyone else gets now that the beta-testing is over but I assume everything/lots of apps will get updated with the addition of Nike+ Training, Nike+ Basketball, and Nike+ Training Kinect.

As for the Fuel v. Calories, I still see calories listed 3 spots to the right of Fuel.

i really like the new site and the routes in my area. gonna do the "monument route" in dc soon!

hope they get the challenge page back up and running soon.

Anyone else having trouble "retiring a shoe"?

I "retired" two because I wanted to change their names; however, they still show up...

I want to change "LunarGlide B" to "Glide Blue". Yeah, I'm picky.

Not that this is a big deal since the challenge isn't currently live but I can't upload any of my runs from my Garmin GPS since the site changed over. There was a converter for the old site but I think Nike made sure you can only upload using one of their devices. Walled gardens suck Nike! I won't be using the site until this is changed.

The new system is bugging out. I had 6 runs last week but it only recorded 5, skipped my Friday run altogether. Whats weird is the runs are stored on the watch and it clearly shows the Friday run but it still didn't sync on the website.

Anyways, they're expanding their Nike+ line-up to basketball and training (come sout June 29) and I am kind of psyched for this although I wish I didn't just buy a pair of LG3+ and FR3+.

Nike+ Basketball

Nike+ is no longer for runners only.

At an event in New York City Wednesday, Nike unveiled a line of digitally connected footwear — some designed for basketball, others for more general workouts — that records data about the wearer and syncs it to accompanying Nike+ Basketball and Nike+ Training apps for the iPhone, iPod touch and web.

The shoes are embedded with four pressure sensors and an accelerometer that can record distance, number of steps and jump height over time. The information used to help athletes better track their activity levels through the course of a workout or basketball game and, if they wish, compare it to others’ data.

The new footwear and apps will be available in retail locations and in the App Store, respectively, in the U.S., UK, France, Germany and mainland China on June 29.

Nike+ was first launched six years ago as a set of running products — shoes, a watch, an armband, a custom iPod nano, as well as apps for the iPhone, iPod touch and the web — that enables users to set goals, record their runs and progress, and compete for virtual badges and against their friends. More recently, the company released a fuel band that records the wearer’s total number of steps and time, and calculates speed and calories burnt in the process. More than 6 million people are apart of the Nike+ ecosystem, according to the company’s own estimates.

Above all, Nike+ Basketball is designed to help users improve their basketball game. The shoes — the first of which is called the Nike Hyperdunk+, and will be worn by LeBron James this summer — measure how high, how hard and how quickly the wearer plays over time, and transmits that data wirelessly to his or her iPhone or iPod touch.

Players can then use the accompanying app to better understand their own game and, should other players have the app as well, compare their playing ability to others’. Who is the fastest person on a team? Who jumps the highest? Is that player jumping higher now than he or she was a month prior? Does one player’s energy drop off mid-game, and pick up at the end? All of this can be determined with the Nike+ Basketball system.

The app’s coolest feature is its “showcase
