RUN with US on INSTAGRAM #NTrunning (NikeTalkRunning)

Sorry for the newb question but how do u do the custom photo for your post-run? google had answers but i couldnt figure it out in the app.

Also, tempted to get the pegasus31 after reading reviews here

Click "share" on the bottom, once you edit your pic it automatically saves into you camera roll, assuming youre using Nike+.

Grab the Pegs! Especially since the 32's are coming out the 29th (confirmed with a Nike employee), the 31's will be on sale everywhere.

If you're using NIKE+, there should be a share button on the lower end of your screen after you finish a run. If you see the Instagram logo, you should be able to create a pic with your run stats superimposed. If you see it, tap it, and it should be self explanatory from there.

Dont think that wold be efficient or make sense for an app to do. It would have to CONSTANTLY inform you for you to find it useful. Plus it would cut into your music.

I would rather check on my phone, if it helps grab a case that has built in finger attachments specifiy to run in, I got used to running with my phone in my hand but id understand why it would bother some people.

Same. I wish the app had a visual of your OVERALL pace rather than an "on the run" pace. I find it somewhat annoying that I have to reach one mile after another to know how my pace OVERALL is going.

I used to use an armband, but I always found myself checking out my phone. Eventually, I stopped using it around my arm and wrapped it around my wrist for better visibility. Now, I have my phone in a handwrap/carrier, and I love it because it's a lot more convenient.

Thank you for posting that video.  I definitely need to have a better stretch/cool down routine.

In running threads I post that I run in my retro air max 95's and always get reactions like "wth". They work for me because I underpronate when I run and need a cushion shoe. The cushioning in the forefoot prevents me from having pain on the lateral sides of my feet that hit the ground the most. It's hurts to run with shoes that don't have that cushioning set up. Eventually i'd like to go to a running store and find out what newer shoe would best work for me.

Wow. You're like the Rasheed Wallace of the running world. Just kidding haha. If you like them, then there's nothing wrong with that...

Retro AM95s were actually one of the first shoes I started running in, and they felt like bricks to me. It's gonna be a world of difference when you upgrade to current tech. I underpronate as well, but I prefer minimal cushioning. For Nike, the Vomero 10 and Structure 18 seem like they could satisfy your running preferences...

Go to a running store and check out the Hoka One One line of shoes.

This is the response I got back from Solereview on Peg 31

31 Review

Me...... 7 days ago. Just re-read the review on the Pegasus 31. It says the 31 has cut out the arch support and is purely targeted to regular to high arch runners. I did a wet foot print to kinda show the curvature of my foot. It seems that I have a very low arch. If the arch support was done away with, and I have little to no arch why would I need arch support. Maybe I'm looking at the statement backwards. I always thought if you had a high arch you'd need that support from the shoe itself. Hope I explained well enough for you to understand. Thanks...

The more shoes we review, the more we’ve convinced that under-arch support feature in a shoe isn’t as important as what brands makes it out to be. The prevalent theory was that lower arches need support to prop them up, and higher arches don’t, as they need to collapse to do their job properly. But like, we said, we don’t think it is that simple, and the same applies to the whole pronation control thing. As long as the shoe fits well, blends cushioning and support in equal measures, that is most what matters.

But yes, in the marketing context of under-arch support, you’re looking at the statement backwards.

I post this in regards of the guy looking for running shoes. When it comes to runners, it's gonna be a hit or miss. A set purpose of a shoe do not work for everybody. The only thing I agree on is that you have to start somewhere. Thus when buying from a running store, they allow you to test the shoes out. If it doesn't meet your standards then you can return them. They understand even though a shoe is built for stability, overpronators, impact protection, etc etc...it still might not suite you. Example was the Brooks Ghost 7 and there defects from the manufacture making some of there shoes very uncomfortable. They were not aligned right. I learn all of this through reading reviews. So take a little time and review, cross reference other sites, and read the comment under the reviews. Hopes this helps...

The video says they come out in July but on the comments section running warehouse says now they are coming out next month in June.

I'm glad because my current Clifton's are starting to show wear and tear on them after all the miles I've put on them.

I'm really looking forward to SR's review of the Vom10. :nerd:

Should be up in a few days. Which I don't think they will get a good review. Unless they redeem themselves like the Nimbus 17 did unto the Nimbus 16 review. I've read past Vomero reviews and they've all fell short of what past and current Vomero runners are use to. The plushness in material and comfort of the Vomero 3...

Just googled and read some previews on the Vomero 10's and they say it weighs 12.3 ounces :x :smh:

Way to heavy & clunky for me.

I might give the Pegasus 32 a chance though. They weigh 9.7 ounces.

Vom10s aren't chunky at all, IMO. They feel much sleeker than the 9. Personally, I want a "heavy" shoe, so I can have that extra strength and speed when I run in a racing shoe.

My only compliant about the Vom10s is the lack of a tongue lace loop to stabilize the laces...

Same as past Vomeros. The clunkyness and lack of flexibility in the forefoot makes them prone to give a good toe-off. Like others, I never ran in the Vomero so to me I couldn't tell how they stack up against past models. So for us that are just starting to like them/first time runners of the Vomero line, we wouldn't know what to look for. So again by reviews they probably won't score well from the past history but would probably fair decent in performance to us newcomers.
