I just received my refurbished set from eBay. I paid $63 shipped. The sound is definitely an upgrade from my previous BT set. I can't wait to test them out on the run later tonight or tomorrow morning...

One thing I don't like is how the cord hangs. I'm thinking of using a rubber band or a zip tie to bundle up the excess...

Not sure if this is the right thread to ask..

But anyone used the 'asics gt 2000 3' or the 'mizuno wave inspire 11'?

Maybe I have a big head , but that cord doesn't bother me at all. I noticed some reviews saying that same thin, but it doesn't effect me at all. I don't feel it when I run. I don't even think I could bundle the excess if I wanted too, weird. It definitely extends a little bit outwards. But it doesn't move at all, or touches me, when I run.

The cord hanging out coupled with movement made it feel like it was about to dislodge from my ears, so I just tucked the excess into my cap. It felt a lot more secure for me. I need to test them without a cap.

First 10k done. Never ran that far. Done in 1:05. Also beat my 5k time 30:51.

I tested the full length Zoom insoles on the track last night. They're super responsive and bouncy, but they got pretty uncomfortable as the run progressed. I don't think they're for me. I prefer the standard Fit4 insole (from the LunarEclipse). I think Zoom is like vanilla. A little already goes a long way (Pegasus (heel) / Vomero (forefoot and heel). Maybe there's a reason why there aren't any full length Zoom running shoes... :nerd:

The program wanted 12 today, but I was cooked after 10.  I need to do more the night before in terms of hydrating and such if I'm going to run at 5am.

Great times... You are really pushing the limits in your runs. Keep up the hard work.

I still wanna try for myself. Maybe in my work shoes or some of my shoes that don't have as good of a cushioning system. Love the responsiveness altogether. Only shoe that I know that came close to having full length zoom air is the Nike Zoom Spiridon.

Doesn't seem like we have too many participants in this weeks challenge :nerd:

Guess we aren't a group of night runners

My short runs are today and Friday, so I'll try and get mine in tonight.  I don't think I want a Friday night run, haha.

:nerd: any of you guys going to enter in to the random draw for the Nike Women's Half Marathon on October 18, 2015 ?

I'd love to, but I signed up for Disney in January, and I can't swing two trips that close together (with Christmas and my wife's birthday in between).

For 2016, I think I'm going to register for the Vegas half in November.  That will go nicely with my wife's 40th birthday, so I think I can pull that one off.
