RUN with US on INSTAGRAM #NTrunning (NikeTalkRunning)

For those wanting to participate / be a part of the challenge, you'll need a Nike+ device; iPhone 3GS-4, iPod Nano or Touch. You'll also need to register an account at nikeplus.com (free) to track your individual progress and NT's overall progress. If you've ordered from NDC before, I think you can use the same login.

If you have an iPhone/iPod Touch, there are two options. One is download the Nike+ GPS app (free from the App Store). The other is to purchase a Nike+ sensor (~$18).

If you have an older iPod, you'll need to purchase a Nike+ sensor and receiver. I think it's around $30 (correct me if I'm wrong).

How it works is simple...
Once you have your Nike+ device and app ready. Just start a run with it. Once you've completed a workout, simply sync it to Nike+, and it should accumulate to the NT total mileage. However, remembe you must first join challenge for the MILES to COUNT in the NT total.

UGH PFL.

I'm out of town and my Nike+ chip is back home. Will be joining in the festivities at the end of august.
Good luck Team NT until then.

Would be in, but Nike+ is garbage and I don't run with a phone or ipod. Sometimes use a garmin but lately haven't even been using that. If there was a way to just log mileage I would be in. Need to start running more, looking to run 1:30 for a half in the fall. If I come up on a cheap Nike+ watch I might log some with it, but from my experience they aren't very accurate unless they have changed in the past year or 2.

^All good, Sir. I felt Nike+ was the most convenient option to sum up everyone's mileage.

Oh and good luck with your goal time, I have pretty much the same goal. It'll be first 1/2, but my best 13.1 from the two fulls I've run was 97.5. Hopefully, I can get it done.
