Good seeing people posting their fastest pace times. I'm currently at 6:53 a minute fastest mile, 7:30ish more my average, and 8:30ish is cruising. My current running route is slightly elevated in certain spots. My times could be better if I ran on a straight surface.

For those that are intrigued by the Zoom Elite 8s, are you all more of a forefoot runner? Seeing they only have zoom in the forefoot, are they recommended for heel strikers?

Also let me not leave out all of the new comers and runners that are starting to run again after a long recovery. Gradually get yourselves back into running. No pressure in trying make times, start with a slower pace. I also heard that a longer run will help with a faster pace. It increases your endurance and sometimes different methods work for different people.

Thanks guys... For 223 pounds, I don't think I do too bad lol. I will say determination and perseverance holds me in place do what I need.

I ran ran my fastest two mile pace the other day. I feel like I'm getting faster with every few runs...

Mid to forefoot striker here. The FK Racer has the same Zoom set-up, and I love it.

Nike coaching feature is legit. I decided to use it for my marathon training, on week 8 out of 23 currently.

Does anyone know how many weeks is the half marathon training using the coach feature on the Nike plus app ? :nerd:

Dang, I'm tempted to try it out even though I have no races on schedule... :nerd:

I don't have any races scheduled and just selected the intermediate 5k program just to keep myself accountable on my cardio to go with my work out plan

Tempted to abandon it and do the half marathon program since I might try to see if I can get into the Nike half marathon in October
