^^^^ time for some deep tissue massage on your legs.

After working on my form yesterday, I feel no pain in my calves at all. No tightness and what ever little pain I had left is completely gone. Hoping it doesn't come back. Still gonna keep stretching just to avoid it coming back

Less than 30 days to Boston.  I made the really, REALLY dumb decision to run a half marathon today after my 21-mile long run yesterday.  My legs, they are not happy.

That's how you push through barriers my man, through pain comes growth!

Eddie Izzard completes Sport Relief marathons challenge

Comedian Eddie Izzard has completed his challenge in South Africa to run 27 marathons in 27 days for Sport Relief.

The 54-year-old needed to run a double marathon on Sunday to complete his challenge beneath a statue of Nelson Mandela, in Pretoria.

Izzard attempted a similar feat in South Africa in 2012 but had to pull out for health reasons.

The comedian's endurance feat raised more than £1.35m. The 2016 Sport Relief total stands at £56,984,007.

"That was very, very tough," Izzard told reporters as he swigged from a celebratory bottle of sparkling white wine.

The 27 marathons were intended to reflect the 27 years Mr Mandela had spent in prison before becoming South Africa's first black president.

Anyone use the lunar tempo to run in??? Need some feedback before I purchase currently use the lunar 1

I had last year's version. TTS if you have regular feet, I sized up 0.5 being a wide footer. It's light, with a lower stack height and responsive, good for it's namesake.

Size up a half size. I wear a size 9 Flyknit racer, and need a 9.5 in the lunartempos. The toe box is not very tall, so it tends to squish the tops of my toes.

I went tts, but agreed on the toe box. They are currently my favorite running shoes. Slightly lighter than flyknit lunar1s, cushioning is about the same, maybe a bit firmer. I would recommend reading the solereview article, but it can't hurt to try. I like them more than solereview did.

I'm about to wear out my second pair of LunarTempo 1s, and I have two more DS in the closet ready to go.  I'll run Boston in them.  I, like others, went up .5 in mine.  Have yet to try the 2, though.

I loved the Flyknit Lunar 1s.  The 2s I thought were too narrow - it constantly felt like I was going to roll over the side of them.  The Tempo feels like it has a wider footbed to land in, which kind of makes it feel like a stability shoe without any of the actual support.  I don't know if that made sense, but I feel a lot better landing in the Tempo.

I felt the GR LT2s fit small, so I think +0.5 would be best. With iDs, I'm not sure... Has anyone ordered an LT2iD?

Just got these bad boys in. about test them out

I had never heard of Newtons before, and then a couple people in the run club I just join have them.  Educate me...

Fam, I need some help buying a new GPS watch! I'm torn between getting the Garmin Forerunner 235 or the FitBit Surge.

Here's the deal: I have the Nike+ GPS Watch, which I absolutely love. However, this year I decided to track my runs using Under Armour's MapMyRun. I feel as if it's a little bit more accurate, and I really feel like it's more user-friendly, even though it's a little "techy". Anyways, I'm loving MapMyRun, so I would need a watch that would sync with the app. I'm leaning towards the Garmin, however the more I research I do, the more I'm finding out that FitBit is the new wave. Also, I've been reading that Garmin's are hard to read under bright light. I live in California so I don't want to have to deal with that, especially when I'll be running during the summertime.

In addition, is there anyway I can sync my PREVIOUS Nike+ runs? From 2013-2015, I pretty much used Nike+ all throughout. Is there anyway I'd be able to upload my previous runs, AND my runs recorded in MapMyRun?

P.S. I'm really getting excited for my first marathon in NYC!

Newtons are known for their POP technology which utilizes lugs under the midfoot on the outsole. Essentially, the lugs are designed for you to develop a midfoot strike. When you land on the lugs they go into the carrier sole, so, when you push off, you're propelled forward. Their logo is actually legs running in perfect form :smokin

Garmin partners up with NIKE+, so you continue to accumulate mileage on it. Personally, I love using the NIKE+ app since I have most of my mileage on there. However, it is possible to convert your MapMyRun info to Nike+ with some apps. I'm not sure if the reverse is possible.

I have the original Garmin vivoactive, and I love it! It can be spotty at times even with GLONASS, but it's okay. I'm just glad that my phone battery doesn't get as drained. The display isn't that bad under bright light, imo.

With those two prospects, I'd personally opt for the 235. I love all the colors and graphics it displays. I believe the Surge's display is monochromatic. If you want to get into Fitbit, maybe looking at the Blaze might interest you more.

Did you get the one with the heart monitor? I might look into that. It's cheaper than the 235 too. Thanks!

I usually try to run 5 miles every morning before work, but today I couldn't even get to 2. I have no idea what happened lack of sleep, diet... Talk about a mood killer.

Is there a smartwatch that has both Nike+ and Google Play Music app functionality? Been searching for one for the longest but all of them only seem to have one and not the other.

Kevin with the double century! Go ntrunning!
I screwed myself yesterday, though...I knew I had 2 days to run 12, but I was at a sneaker-testing event and ran 4, and then went home instead of running more.  So I had to put in 8+ today, and I really didn't want to, haha.

(By the way, I wear tested two Saucony shoes and was unimpressed with one by a lot, and the other slightly.  I didn't even look at the model name because I knew I'd never buy them.)

Saw the Nike Zoom vomero 11's at the Nike outlet. They really don't look that appealing me. I'm not a fan of the new upper and the flat flywire.

Sup guys, I'm registered to run the Disney Dark Side half marathon in about 2 weeks in Orlando.. problem is, I've never ran a half marathon in my life. :\

Work completely took over my life in the month of March(I know, excuses excuses :smh: ) and the last run I ever completed was 10 miles back on 02/28. The most miles I've ever ran...

So my question, what training program would you guys recommend for these next 12 days.? And most importantly, how likely is it that I'll even complete the race.?
