I have tried Pegasus, still got calluses. If I remember correctly it wasn't as easy as when I wear my free's, but the Pegasus did feel heavier on my feet
And i only get them on the upper part of my foot, under my big toe
I get calluses from most of my sneakers.  I just learned to deal with them.  I'm not saying that's the recommended option, but I just didn't feel like spending that much time figuring it out.

Starting doing long runs again, getting further into my marathon training. Starting to feel *alright*. Not sure if I was better last year or right now

I need new shoes, waiting for the odyssey 2 to come out in about 2 weeks though..

I stopped running after October and started again in March, up until a couple of weeks ago I was still getting the runner's high, now it's doesn't happen, haha

mind explaining this, i was walking around in my ultra boosts and thought they'd be unreal running
In the short term, I'm sure you're right.  I don't think Ultra Boost has the structural integrity to maintain that feeling for 250-300 miles, while many Luanr models do. Some of the Boost models like the Adios might be better for long term usage.

i don't know if you tried ultra boost, they're comfy as hell but they run down faster than most. I've been through 2.

where exactly did yours run down? any specific part of the shoe or just the shape in general

interesting def going to look into those then

Here are my Peg 31s which is my top running shoe that i run in the most... Also I run in the Spenco Ironman insoles which helps my running form so i dont overpronate. I had the Structure 18, couldn't do motion control shoes, they automatically hurt my low arch. Even though im a forefoot runner, they do help a little when my legs get tired and my form starts to get sloppy. I never had a problem with blisters as i run barefooted in all my runners. I like to log all my runners to keep a track of the mileage i put on them.

I ran in my Kinvara 5s today. I haven't put much mileage on them and havnet been running in these as much. Today i notice that my inner calves were hurting from my morning run. Im thinking that my legs dont like the 4mm heel-toe drop anymore. Kinda felt like my legs were straining too much in my strides. Use to love running in these because they are light.

Question about your insoles. Did you ever compare them with the total supports? Asking since I'm looking at both and I over pronate

At the time i was comparing the 3 of Spenco insloes. The total support, ironman race and ironman train insoles. The
Total support insoles seem like your every day walking/running insoles. From a review I read, the Ironman Train insole isnt as flexible as the Race insole. Since these were specifically design for runners, i went with these.

Short little review i stumbled upon.

Thanks. Looks like I'm going for the total support for my work boots and I'll pick up the ironman race for my running

Tried running a fast mile for the hell of it and man, I'm nowhere near as I was last year...legs just feel weak, my breathing was fine.

Last year I was running 5 days a week and putting in lots of miles, this year just 4 and not that many miles. I'm barely going to be hitting 20 this week for the first time.

The time you put in really makes a difference it seems, or maybe I'm just a lot weaker now. I chose an easier plan since my knee was in bad shape from running so hard last year. I thought my fitness from last year would make up for the easier plan and have me feeling amazing . I haven't had a run where I've felt challenged (only done 10miles though) at least, last year I remember pushing myself so hard. Not challenging in that, I run at an easy pace and feel good

Running the Berlin marathon September, really hope I can get the time I want (3:30-4:00). I feel I should be good though, 13 weeks to train

Picked up a pair of lunar epic lows. Different type of shoe to run in. Like running on cushions. Lol. Will have to get used to these as I usually run in flyknit air maxes.

Trying to get up to 10km a run. Running about 5-6 kms right now.

Just learned about the pose method and will give it a try

Good to see this thread here

I have the Olympic pair coming in the mail.  I can't wait to try them on, but I don't think I'll run in those.  Maybe grab a GR pair down the road on discount, if I like them.  I'm still running in LunarTempos.  Welcome to the thread!

I'm looking to grab iDs of the OG cut Epics for casual wear soon... [emoji]129296[/emoji] I'm very intrigued by this new Lunar sole (epic and Glide) though.

I may pick up a pair of the zooms if the release a low cut version. I wear orthotics and seems like a lot of effort to put into the shoes based on the sock.

Has anyone ran in the new zooms? If so, what do you think?

Got a race on Sunday it's going to finish in a baseball stadium. That should be interesting.
Killed this race my fastest 5k 26:39. Best I have done was 28 something. Course was flat and the weather was perfect 70 degrees ran under a few tunnels and finishing in a stadium was cool. Former baseball player gave medals out which made the experience even better to meet the guy I used to watch play in the 90s.

Awesome job! A few years ago I finished a race at the LA Coliseum, pretty cool ending for a race!

Where was it?

There's one every year that finishes at home plate at Fenway Park that I'll do someday.

Minor League baseball statdium in cleveland. The Cleveland Indians have a race that ends at home plate sometime this year I will sign up for.

First run of the year for me yesterday. Did a 5K in 97-98 degree weather here in Southern NM. Wanted to die but I got through it. Have to break the ice and get back to my 10k's
