No hate in just saying theres a couple gems on there, when you put those alongside some of the other music he's been putting out the past 6 months or so it dude's at a whole nother level than most of these rappers in the gameSee: 'Running Rebels', 'Play Your Part', 'Rise', 'Pandemonium', 'Selfmade', '4am'

You're right on him being the same person part. I think people just want the poetic Wale back, and judge HIS lyrics off of the artists' lyrics that surround him.

The biggest thing is the sound of his music that makes ppl think he changed, I personally like the older beats he was using.

The biggest thing is the sound of his music that makes ppl think he changed, I personally like the older beats he was using.

That just lets you know who is actually listening to the lyrics. Too many people are getting caught up in the beat but aren't listening to the lyrics. Anybody screaming Wale changed either hasn't been a fan long enough or just isn't listening to the lyrics, plain and simple.

A beat can still change the feel of a song tho regardless of the lyrics, personally im not sayin his subject matter has changed but rappin on them MMG tracks gets annoying. I do agree that alot of ppl aren't listening to his lyrics tho.
