The "Knit" and "Primeknit" are both primeknit. They're all priced the same. Sesames, Blacks, Greys, and Navys have primeknit uppers. The teal and black "snake" pack are also primeknit but for whatever reason, Adidas had to confuse the hell out of everyone and call them "Tubular X Primeknit."


The only Xs that aren't primeknit are the $120 circular-knit pairs.





I've tried to break-in my black primeknit Xs and they're still uncomfortable. Really disappointed because the design is great but the comfort isn't there at all.

I got the Adidas Tubular x Knit Seasame but the insides of the shoes aren't even glued together... smh what should I do?  Can I try gluing it together?

I went half a size down on the x Primeknit.  The toe box on my right shoe is really uncomfortable on the way it presses down on by big toe.  The left feels fine however.  I suggest that you stay TTS for the Primeknit.  I can't return mine since I already wore them out hoping that breaking them in will help but nope. I guess that I'll just live with it or ebay them.

I'm a 14 so I had to go TTS and they're still uncomfortable. No cushion at all. Maybe I'll look for a ridiculously comfy insole.

But you're right, the reinforcement on the toebox hurts like hell if your big toe rubs on it. That's the one place where Nike's flyknit has the advantage, you can have a snug fit all the way to the end of the toe because there's no glue or fuse.
 
Superstars fit the same as ZX Flux, right, .5 large? Wanna make the SNS Cameras my first, but I want to make sure they fit when I order them. I wear 9.5 US in Flux (and most EQTs), 10 in most everything else.

I can't get pics of it because it's inside the shoe at the toebox where there's no light and my phone's camera can't take flash.  I wish I could take pics for proof.

I found with mine it was like that at first. I wore them a few times and put wooden shoe trees in them for a few days, and now it doesn't bother me.
 
There is a regular Tubular X 'Camo' coming out soon in white camo and regular camo...

Just picked up my tubular x knit sesame (bought from Germany and it took two weeks to get here) and I do not like them at all!! I'm letting them go for what paid.

I'm contemplating returning mine as well. What don't you like about them?
 
Does anyone know what has happened to the Adidas Consortium line it always used to be good for 3 to 4 pairs a year i mean the solebox EQT's , primeknit pure boost, and the Quotoole's from last year were my personal favourites and in years past the AZX and ZX releases were on point. But after the Superstar stuff in Q1 of this year its all been a bit **** really.

What's the story?

The skinniness of the shoe. I like my high tops to be bulky and they're not. Plus, they only look good if you tuck your pants behind the tongue and I don't like doing it either.

Why on earth would you buy the shoe if you wanted it bulky?? You can look and see that it is not and that its made of a "KNIT" material.... lol. As well, the shoe looks just fine with either a pair of joggers or a regular pair of jeans which covers the actual shoe. 

I have no issues with my pair.... your reasoning just seems a bit off. Seems like your purchased off of hype.

how would his reasoning be off hype?

some of the shots make the shoe look bulky, its not the knit material but rather a silhouette that can make a shoe appear bulky.

for starters, the sole is quite bulky. to me the shoe reminds of a stripped down b-ball huarache.

seems to me like your reasoning just seems a bit off

But yeah, the originals line has been going down for a while now. Most of the superstars that came out after the 45th anniversary joints were either uninspired or down right ugly, and they need to get a refund from Pharrell.

Definitely not bought of off hype.

Like I said every time they were brought up, they remind me of a reworked Forum High and I own 5 pairs of them. I thought I'd give the tubular X a try, but it won't work with me (I don't wear joggers with high tops) *shrug*
