No they weren't inspired by Kanye. Y-3 qasa lows have been out for a while now. From what I've been told quality is great. Shoe looks dope imo just not the right time to be dropping $375 for a pair. Regret not copping for $250 when I had the chance.

I know they're not inspired by kanye, they're yohji yamamoto shoe. What I meant to say was that some colorways were inspired by kanye. At least it gives off that impression since people are listing them as Knaye racer Y3 Qasa's on ebay. I don't know anything about the release other then the titles on the ebay listings.

Kanye had nothing to do with the shoes besides wearing them a few times.
Kanye wore the white racers so the clowns on eBay figured they could advertise them as "kanye y3 racers".
It'd be the same if someone went on eBay and listed white flyknits as "kanye flyknit trainer"

Welp, looks like last night's adidas.com restock was too good to be true. Just got an email telling me they can't ship them. Bummer, was looking forward to the Oceans.

I don't think Adidas is doing anything differently then they normally do. I think people are just hoarding them up. When I hear about people clearing a size run due to no limits etc... that's just people stocking up to capitalize off the current reselling prices... I think in a few weeks to end of the month this will be over with once all the big chains get their stock inventory.

It is what it is, but I made sure to call and give them an earful. From the date misinformation, then them telling me there would be absolutely no restock on adidas.com, to the random restock late last night I thought I got through on, and finally the e-mail today telling me they can't ship either pair. It's been poorly handled to say the least.
At least I found the New Medias, which was the one pair I really wanted

Like I said before, adidas has very little experience handling a release with a good level of hype behind it.
Look how they handled the in store releases, just opened the doors and let everyone rush in. Just have to give them time. They should smarten up and have quantity limits and more cohesive information being put out by their reps and social media accounts.
Can only hope they have it down pact by the time the big collabs are supposed to drop.

Nahh I'll hate the game. Adidas taking a page right out of The hype playbook and it's working wonderfully. This will all cumulate to the Yeezi launch and those will be limited also. I'll stick to $70 Roshes, shame cus I was diggin some of these.
