Are the nippons really this bad? I never saw them in person but in the pictures they looked good. No one I know gives a **** about asics unless it is a ronnie fieg collab so I never seen anyone wear them and I don't have them.

It's all down to personal preference. People were just disappointed because the photos made it look vibrant and vivid, but in more typical lighting (indoors, in the shade) it turned out looking a little dull. I still think the dots give it pop and the red laces are nice, if given the chance i'd cop one for the wife.

That's crazy these made it to Nordstrom, was it an announced release or you just randomly came across them? At least you got to see them in person before purchasing.

Had no idea they were getting them. Just out shopping on vacation and saw them on the wall and had to do a double take. The guy said the got them in that morning. And yes it was a bonus seeing them in person. They aren't as vivid as in pics but still nicely put together and look better on foot, plus I didnt have to pay shipping.

I really like the touch of olive on the heal. The only thing i don't like about it is the yellow piping. I love the clean toe box the blend of oranges...but if the piping and Asics on the tongue would have been an orange i would have liked it better. But that is a minute detail.

update in the UBIQ size run,
I just assumed up to size 13 because of previous releases. We are in fact only going up to a size 12, but are doing all half sizes from 7-12.

Me too, but im expecting utter disappointment lol.. I think one guy said he was going to try dying the blue suede(?) to make it deeper. If that goes well I may follow suit.
