general question here - but still related to this thread. just bought the teal dragons, but autofill entered my wife's name instead on mine on the bililng address part. went to check my account statement, and it says pending. so a payment can go through even if the billing name of card doesn't match billing name on order? (all else the same)....i feel like it would get rejected....anyone have info on this?
 
almost copped teals but I'm gonna wait for the Xmas GRs instead..:smokin

Woke up in the middle of the night and decided to check here. Good thing was able to scoop a pair last night.

How good is Bait customer service? I was sleepy and clicked the wrong size SMH. Since they don't ship till 13th, think they will be able to fix it? I was in "oh no hurry up and cop" mode lol

Shouldn't be a problem. Their customer service is usually on point. I have called their online store number ( 909.895.0468 ) a couple times and gotten helped real quick. Never messaged them so idk about that.
 
Word, Im gonna call them. Funny is I passed on these first drop...then they grew on me a bit and when I went to find a pair and saw what resale was I couldnt believe it! If cats on deployment with me on crap internet were able to cop the OG, it wasnt all that hard...the resale to me  never made sense. Just seen a few people cop the OG for beaucoup bucks too, like just 2 days ago. thats gotta burn a bit
 
yup, something like that. SMH. I didnt even bat an eye at copping since it was early in the AM and I had planned on just never getting them thanks to resale, but thats crazy. I guess they can do that, but damn man....now  I am back to wishing I had liked them from the jump and saved some $ (although with the crazy prices they go for, I may have sold em)

2011 was 2011. It's 2014 and asics collab are not 80 bucks anymore. Even grs are going for more than that. See it that way, 150 is better than 400 which was ebay price since years.
 
You guys aren't accounting for inflation over the past few years...which was 5.7%... So the shoes should be $84.59.

I guess bait just decided to round up a bit.

Was anyone able to confirm if these are remakes or the inventory from 2011?  I think someone posted earlier that they were the pairs that sat but they still have FSR and seems like everyone is copping so I am leaning towards a remake as my guess.  The title of the communication from BAIT is that its a "reissue" so...
 
Hopefully Bait has enough of these teal dragons for me to scoop em in next weeks raffle. If anybody could provide me with an oop, I would gladly appreciate it! I keep getting the "Forbidden" message any time I try to click or us any of the links. Probably because my Bait account is too new.

What about cost of labor and freight which increased more than inflation?
 
ya there is no reason to whine about the price hike from the original.  not only is it justifiable but understandable considering the hype asics has garnered over the past couple years.  if you dont agree then dont purchase them, simple as that.

also ive seen a couple people getting all warm and tingly down below at the thought of the "nubuck suede" toe/heel cap on these...dont get to excited.  if they are the same as the originals then it is actually a very tightly woven nylon type material that asics used on their collabs back in the day(same as super reds and super blues).  looks nice but is definitely NOT a nubuck or any other type of suede for that matter.  you would only know this upon close inspection and/or if you have ever owned a pair.  like Proto said though, the long haired pigskin is pretty nice and the quality was very good.

that being said, congrats to those who got them so far and i personally cant wait to add these to my collection again...

Just logged into BAIT and saw that pretty much every size is still available.. I'm sure many folks will eat on that raffle..
