The shadiness is real. Only seen it form one dude. Know for a FACT he backdoors at reseller prices. Mexican kid, shooter from the Wire first name. I'm sure you know him. But he's Cmon fam so i doubt they care.

They probably don't care. The more people who strike out on collabs, the more who are thirsty for the next one or settle for GRs (not to say that there's anything wrong with GRs)

I feel you and i'm almost always good myself, and Rome, Larry, and the filipino manager dude (cant remember his name off top) are all good folks and have taken care of me in the past.
But to act like ole son son doesn't make shady moves doesn't help this rep their VA shop is starting to build.
I've been down there a couple times in my travels to Norfolk, and they seemed legit to me, back when they used to have the stand alone shop (IE not in the mall). It's been a while, and i'm sure the faces and times change, so i wouldn't put it past em.
I'll still support the shop ( i copped geminis there weeks after release as they just sat in my size at least) and will try for the Da Vinci's IF they go online as i'll be in SF next weekend. Hope my DMV NT fam can cook. Good look gents.

don't think that 500 # is actually true. it's probably going to be 500 pairs reserved for just commonwealth in-store which is a lot of pairs. i think people are failing to catch that the online release is actually almost a month after the in-store drop so there will probably be a bit more pairs, but not a crazy amount as they have said that the Da Vinci GLV's will be a store exclusive drop like the UNDFTDs/Mita's were.
BUT if i'm incorrect and that 500 # is actually the true production run then GG. Resell would instantly be 4+ out the door. retail or bust for me.

It's not even going to be 500 pairs. At a maximum it's going to be 494. The eBay dude 'uslovesosa' told me he is getting 6 pairs guranteed in any size he wants. And that's just one re-seller/ back doorer we know of
