I highly doubt they would lie about 500 pairs but from the way commonwealth worded things on IG and also from cmonbeeay's comment on Da Vinci during DB fiasco, I am sure 500 pairs only include instore stocks.

They never said 500 pairs including both in-store + online and if you think about it, it can be technically interpreted as 500 pairs in store + X pairs online. It's like how they once said "Gemini is exclusively available in our stores on xx/xx date". Although they released tons of pairs online and other stores afterwards, it did release exclusively on their stores on that date. They already increased the hype with 500 pairs thing and no one can really call them liars even if they release additional 500 pairs online.
Just my two cents for people planning on these rape preorder. It is always a good idea to not support rape resale anyway so

Agreed I think they mean exclusive to them and no other store wil have them this Saturday

yep kev's super legit just his preorder prices sometimes are up there. he charges pretty good rates for mid-tier hype kicks so he can be really useful sometimes. i've gotten diadora's from him for sub 300 on RD.

slight lurk on this page but wanted to get some feedback. was at the DB packer release, fully aware of how the asics release of recent have been.
may make the trek from NY. would anyone think one location has a better shot/chance at? DC or VA?
Don't want to necessarily bite the resale/pre order bullet but doubt that other stores which got 25th anniversary pairs will get some of these.

^ thats a pretty high mark up already on a pre order. DB pre orders were around 350-400 pre release.
i saw his price jump up after the DB release, when the 4-5th pair walked out the door.

I get the feeling the 500 exclusive pairs is correct...as in, 500 pairs releasing exclusively this weekend via Commonewealth.
Then in two or three weeks time other stores release.
This is ofcourse just me interpreting their play on words in that post a page or so back with the 500 pairs.

I'm just not buying into it. Great way to build hype.
I'm not even going to go for them this weekend. They're the only pair of Asics I've been waiting for, this hype can take the 500 pairs with it. If they truly don't release at other stores then oh well. If they do, I'll gladly buy..but I'm avoiding the hype machine for this weekends release.
