I know it has already been mentioned that the Tsavorites seem to feel a bit more bulky. I noticed that as well and out of curiosity i did a comparison with my Gel Lyte III "Guardians".
What´s really interesting is the fact that not only the upper is way more bulky due to the leather than the "iron" mesh of the Guardians. The sole itself is visibly longer on the Tsavorites. Crazy, since both are a US 11, 29,5 cm (checked the label).
Strange that within one year the molds seem to be replaced/changed at Asics … any explanation? Has anyone experienced differences like these within other Asics models?

my small local footlocker now has eu exclusive glv. It seems that most footlockers in at least east coast are carrying them? Didn't really feel them though.

Ah ok. I heard the white/red V's and white/blue saga's were an EU exclusive so I didn't know if he was talking about those.

I've noticed this too.
Teal dragons seem to be the same as my tsavorites and dirty bucks. all the GR GLIIIs i have seem to be a slightly different mold/shape like your guardians.
I would like to know what causes the variation. i'm guessing different molds for different materials but my teal dragons are nearly .5 inch taller at the top of the heel counter than the GRs.
another place to look is the width of the space that holds the ASICS branding on the back on the shoe.

I've noticed it on a few GLV's. The fairy Reds from last year have a very snug fit compared to the new black/orange pair I picked up a few weeks ago.

are they that expensive? 210 in AU is like 160 in USD. shipping to US is like another 40-50. should you just wait for US release?

I have quite a few pairs of GL3s and GL5s and they are all very similar sizing except the Fire Red GR pair. Those are .5 size smaller than all my others.
