Asics Love?!? Where is it?

How have you guys found Asics to hold up on rainy days? Anyone ever tried water repellent spray on the mesh/suede? Looking to get a pair of Asics that can hold up to a bit of rain. The Triple Black Gel Lyte III and the Black Made in Japan denim Gel Lyte III are front runners atm.

Any recommendations? Looking more for the black upper and white sole? Saw those Goretex models but not the biggest on those colours.

Also do the leather upper Asics fit any different to the other materials? I wear a US9 in the Kayanos which fits perfectly.

I grabbed both Get Wet bodega pairs and kept the grey pair. I have worn these more than any other pair of GLVs tbh. The look certainly grew on me but the biggest upside is (of course) the Goretex. I have so many shoes that are suede and, while nice materials are great, none of these can be worn in the rain or snow. I love my Bodega pair and I beat them up pretty good.

Those comparing MT and Undefeated... I can see why they are similar but honestly the overall composition of the shoes yields a totally different result imo. 

I love the color blocking on the sample pair of MTs. Thats what they should have stuck with. No other GLV has that blocking and a black sole would have been better.
 
doubled up on MT but I am not sure if any of my orders will be shipped. kith and ubiq is too damn notorious for this.

Doesn't seem like they are coming stateside might just cop the GT IIs in the same colorway

I seen your vid a few days ago @southboston78  . I also noticed a lot of pairs with terrible stitching and wrinkled toeboxes. Hopefully they can straighten out with shoe trees, but the stitching, not so sure about. Got my pair coming and pretty worried about how they'll turn out.
