Asics Love?!? Where is it?

Medic sample via FB group....that perf suede on the heel is a very nice touch IMO
Wow. I like those a lot better than the actual pair. That perforated heel is tight. I like the actual pair a lot too, but just too much black for my taste.

Interesting, but feel like too much going on. Kind of glad they toned down the infrared hit on the sides with that mesh/netting material and using the black splatter instead of the green. Heel is nice either way.

I seen your vid a few days ago @southboston78  . I also noticed a lot of pairs with terrible stitching and wrinkled toeboxes. Hopefully they can straighten out with shoe trees, but the stitching, not so sure about. Got my pair coming and pretty worried about how they'll turn out.
mine had an odd crease on the toe. threw them on and its not there. its the nature of that perf leather.

I grabbed both Get Wet bodega pairs and kept the grey pair. I have worn these more than any other pair of GLVs tbh. The look certainly grew on me but the biggest upside is (of course) the Goretex. I have so many shoes that are suede and, while nice materials are great, none of these can be worn in the rain or snow. I love my Bodega pair and I beat them up pretty good.

I have completely and totally thrashed all my gore tex pairs, they can handle anything. i just hose them off afterwards, literally inside and out, let dry for one day.

except whitewater rafting

but that should be obvious. holds the water IN sometimes too, like wearing bags of water on your feet haha.

I figured. My main concern is the stitching and different panels being symmetrical and properly cut between the two shoes. Cant even count the amount of times I had mismatched panels and other shoddy craftsmanship on different parts of my pairs.

I also had some red bleeding from the midsole on one of the shoes can't remember which one. It was bad. Anyhow, no big deal win some lose some. The Concepts x Karhu collab is this weekend for those that don't know. They are using the Karhu Aria model. Remind me of Miami Dolphins green/blue toe box with orange. Very similar shoe to a Gel Lyte V with the sockliner

I can't post external links, but blackmarket - URL blkmkt - has 50% off everything online with SPRING50.  Some GR's available - Voltage Pack for $60, etc.

I have been trying to get a pair for the same reason, to beat them up. I do a lot of hiking and just outdoor stuff. How do they compare to a pair of boots? I have some red wings but they can tend too be too bulky, so looking for a lightweight outdoors shoes.

Boots are gonna be what you want for anything remotely serious, it's all about the tools for the job. I've been beating my bodegas all winter, but they have almost no traction on snow/ice and some wet surfaces. Love the pairs big time, they're great for walking around in inclement weather but I could see myself getting hurt if I did any serious hiking in them.

Quick question guys, could anyone with GL3 Mortars tell me how the shade of red is on the shoe?

Is it like a true red or, as the concept behind the shoe suggests, more like a brick red?

Yea the traction/grip would be a deal breaker. I have boots and I love them, just would like something less bulky at times. Though they do have some less crazy looking boots, I thought some Goretx Asics would be nice :D
