Alife made reference the production numbers as a nod to marathon distance/length run, 26.2 miles.
Given how they are all over the place, even being email blast by Asics I am somewhat questioning their numbers statement as well. It could have been 262 per model.

I can't decide which shoe to buy either these HAL's or the ALIFES, I have easy access to both right now but I can't decide which one I like more. I'm starting to lean towards the ALIFES since I've never owned a Kayano. The colors on the HAL's just don't really do it for me but it could be a great piece to have as trade bait in the future.
