I've only owned one pair which I bought a couple of months ago at Burlington Coat Factory for $40. I've worn Saucony, New Balance, Puma, Adidas thoughout my life but I just never copped Asics. I'm a size 12 and these are size 13 but they feel more like a 12. Dug the blue/orange colorway but they seem more like Miami colors than NYC colors. Still, my first pair and I'll cop more in the future.
Great price, those were one of my first pairs of Asics, and now I'm like 30 prs deep. And good for you for getting the GL3 sizing right the first time; I had to try pairs on when I was visiting my bro in NYC to see how they fit because shops by me hadn't started caryying them yet.

Grab a GR GL3 or GLV on deep discount as your first pair. There are lots of great GR colorways that mimic recent collabs that you can get for $50-75. I find GL3s the most comfortable and better looking, but a lot of cats prefer the lower-profile of the GLV. Regardless, go at least .5 size up from your regular Nike size (though your Air Max 1 size should match up well) for either pair, but I go a full size up on GL3s (an 11 in GL3 as opposed to 10 in Nike and 10.5 in AM1).
Also, keep in mind there are some great pairs recently that are waterproof or Gore-Tex, if you live in a snowy/rainy winter climate. Might be a good late-year pickup.

Thanks for the info man, I've seen many CWs I liked but have hard a hard time with the sizing. I have weird feet but in Saucony models I'm a 11. So I may go with that size for my first pair. The all red pair that came out this past feburary, was that a GL3 model or GLV?

Hope that's not true for me. Went to Bait in San Diego and someone snagged the 9.5 I needed (or think I do). They had a 10 left, so I asked if I could try them on, and the guy there said they preferred I didn't, which I thought was odd, but whatever. My FPs had some heel slippage in my normal 10, so I just passed on the HALs. I didn't want to grab someone's size that would actually wear them and trading just seems like a huge headache. Overall nice shoe and thankfully the resale prices aren't absurd; however, reading your response, I hope I didn't make a mistake passing ...

Ah, gotcha. Ok, so I'm a 10 in most Sauconys, except for 6Ks and G9 Shadow 6's (which I go 9.5).
I go 10.5/11 in GLVs. Both fit well.
Btw, Asphalt Gold's "Fitting Room" mobile app is pretty good for brand/model size comparisons, although I just find it easier to match up CM sizing, as I'm pretty much a 28 cm in everything.

To me bape is the worst at using camo. Leave it to Atmos, Supreme, SBTG, etc. If it wasn't for the camo id be all in on the Kayanos.
