I agree that the colorway is great, however, I completely disagree with your second point. My Bodegas make my feet sweat to no end. I can't even imagine wearing those in the summer. I only wear my goretex shoes outdoors. Even indoors they are way too warm for me.

I can agree. I copped the bodegas a half size smaller than my true size, so they do tend to sweat a little in the summer but I usually wear ankle socks with my kicks so it's limited. The st Alfred's don't really strike me as a summer shoe though.

Monkey Time Sand Layers drop this weekend (21st) at only select Monkey Time/Beauty & Youth stores in Japan. Online preorders will also ship out on the 21st.
December 5th is the wide release at more Beauty & Youth locations in Japan. If it plays out like the Light and Shadows, WW will be a few weeks/month or so after Japan release.
Monkey Time Light and Shadows came with only one pair of laces. At the early release in Japan, a few of the shops offered two pairs of 3M rope laces for free. One was black and one was grey, and you could choose either one.
(My grey ones that I tossed in a pair of Saucony)

What size are you after again?
Just a heads up. There's 3 Beauty & Youth stores in Osaka. I know that the one in Grand Front Osaka connected to Osaka Station is actually one of the ones that is dropping this weekend...But they might get more on the 5th, and the other Osaka locations might get them, but not sure. Maybe you'll have to try the Kyoto store (less people as well)
When I was going for my Light and Shadows, I rocked up about an hour and a half before opening. I was second in line, and became good friends with the guy that was first in line haha. If you're after a size between 8-10, I'd get there an hour early just to be safe.

8.5 is one of the first sizes to go here, but will keep an eye out!

It's nuts because they stock more of those sizes than bigger ones. Usually on preorders 11+ only get like 2 pairs each.yeah i noticed. 8.5 sold out first in the pre-order
