Suits officially is garbage. What was the point in mike becoming an investment banker for 10 min. Only to return to pearson specter. Back to the same old storyline.. just more relationship drama smh

unrelated sorta but another good show that comes on the same time is the divide.... its a pretty interesting show so far.

Wow I just realized that commercial with Bill Cowher has been spoiling this season since the start  :smh:
what commercial?

and i have to say, the music used in this show is pretty good imo

:smh:

I kept thinking every time I saw it that this portrays Mike as returning to the firm due to Harvey's comments about remembering how a deposition goes down. I said I doubt it'll happen soon and then they air this during this ep

At the very least he made 3 new enemies and plus there's a chance he smashes his former secretary down the line with this new Mike-Rachel relationship.

But yeah I wouldn't begrudge anybody jumping ship now. There were certain things I accepted about this show but even this is a bit disappointing and yet predictable especially given how quickly it went back to status quo while managing to drag out the premise of the new now ditched status quo.

Mike is back

.

You all knew it was happening at some point, they were never going to be at odds forever. I thought the Gillis deal issue was going too long as it was, but yes I would have liked to see him continue down that road for a bit but I'm not mad at how things have played out.

Now that Mike and Rachel are somewhat over, the love story drama hopefully will slow down a bit and we get more lawyerish conflict out of the show.

I also wouldnt blame people who want to jump ship, but I wont be doing so

Was hoping they played it out with Mike struggling a little more then coming back w/ a new gig and rubbing it in Rachel's face.  Kinda had a feeling that he was going back.  Can't hate too much.  That Harvery/Mike/Donna combo is too good.  Mike saying he has a place to stay in the meantime.  Possibly staying w/ Amy?

i was kinda thinking that as well.... and maybe somehow rachel finds out and donna tries to talk to mike on some yea rachel kissed logan but you smashed ole girl and is shacking up with her. then be on some icing mike out at work. then somehow someway make mike the bad guy and have him begging to get rachel back.

Rachel = #1 Skeezbop Wop Topper

Mike is literally the nicest guy.

I really wanted to see Mike with Forseman.  Oh well.

Now that he's back at Pearson Specter I don't really know what to think.

If either Jessica or Harvey put Mike on the SEC case they could get in big trouble.

However the writers can't leave Mike out of the main story line of the season...

I'm kind of confused.

Mike going back to Pearson Specter is pretty lame, IMO. That's the best the writers could come up with? :smh:

this route or the gillis deal was the only way for them to be involved in the same story line. i have no problems with it.

edit. i totally forgot about the collusion aspect of their conflict

I'm glad Mike and Rachel are done for now. Also glad he didn't just take her back at the end of the episode.

Was hoping Mike would take that job with Forstman just so he'd see that Louis was hiding something from Pearson Spector

Ehhh, I'm not surprised. This isn't the kind of show that would actually stick with a radical departure for long... but I felt they could have stretched it a full season. Don't jump right into pitting Harvey vs. Mike, have the first part of the season be them adjusting to life without each other, let Mike have some success as an investment banker, maybe give Harvey a taste of working without his sidekick, etc. Then bring in Gillis and have them square off against each other, Logan love triangle, etc. And at the end of the season, let Mike come back to the firm, but it just seemed like a lot of talk and excitement for a change, only to go back to normal after 7 episodes.

Then again, even a well-written, top tier show could have difficulty making that kind of shift, so I'm not surprised if Suits played it safe and brought them back together quickly.

As usual, though, I love their music... they seem to enjoy using The Heavy and they picked a great one...
