I got those volt shorts as well - super comfy, lightweight, and REALLY bright. Get lots of stares wearing those things.
aswada - are the stickers at the bottom of those volt cleats warning you that the color will chip off over time?

I just received a pair of the vapor elite talons that I copped from a guy at Oregon selling on ebay. I was worried they may run small, but I wear a 12 and these fit me pretty true to size.

Check DicksSporting Goods. I ordered 4 pairs of cleats no problem. They still have 9-11.5 available online. They also have 9-14 left for the Lunar Vapor Trainer.

I am not clowning or anything but I dont get the infatuation with VOLT colored cleats and stuff. It looks nice and is catching but as a colorway for actual use? Unless your going to Oregon I dont get it. But what do I know, lol.
That said almost every VOLT colored heat I have seen is hot and just about all Oregon PE's are sick. Even there simple green silver ones from early in the season were clean.

Are the cleats from dickssportinggoods the same? It looks like the plate isn't two toned.I just play flag so I wear what every I feel like that day.

I just noticed that the cleat plate isnt two-toned. Did Nike pull a bait and switch? Here is the photo from Nike's website:

I would guess this is just a visual discrepancy/mistake that won't actually be the case in person. They look too similar to be two different models. This seems to happen often as well with Eastbay stock photos when compared with Nike photos. When in hand I will verify the different color blending.Originally Posted by cutthroat

Got the pack from ndc. If they don't fit, be on the lookout for a sz 10.5. I never know what size to order in cleats.

I ordered a pair from ndc and also from Richard's, so I'll be able to confirm once they arrive as well. I doubt the cleats are different though.
Also - a pair of the volt vapor carbons are on ebay right now, size 10. Used, but they look like they're in pretty good shape. Wish I could get my hands on a pair of those in size 9...

man eastbay says vapor talon elites fit true to size width and length... i hope thats not the case because i ordered a 10.5 as opposed to a size 10. every other nike football cleat i wear is a 10.5.....

I guess it must've been, although I assume you shared it elsewhere. When I used my nike account it worked, but then when I tried using it as a guest for a 2nd pair, it didn't work anymore.

Thanks for the link. I am so worried about the plate color difference in the photo's that I hedged my bets an bought a pair from Eastbay.
@Bryscooplaygrif: I have seen that often there are photo discrepancies between the Nike catalog and Eastbay. Also, I think sometimes the prototype or first run is slightly different than the general release. I just hope that the photo's are wrong on DicksSporting Goods. The gold plate makes the cleats for me.

Does anyone know or has their been confirmation if the NFL team specific gloves and team specific Vapor Talons will be available to the general public?
I know the Vapor Talons are supposed to be released in April, but is that just the regular colorways or does it include the team colorways too?
