Interesting to see Sproles in Nike. He has always been a Reebok guy I thought.

KU's new Tech Fit jerseys. I know Tenn, Nebraska, & ND got there's last year but hey for us its new, lol. I like the look of em, slimmer cut and very much on par w/ what Nike has to offer jersey wise.

Oh and @ Caerus....I haven't heard of them shooting a second series of the "Gridiron." They shot some stuff for the preseason and Spring Ball but that's been it so far. Damn shame because that and the Ga Tech victory were about the only highlights from the year, lol.
those jerseys look like a bi*ch to get on.

do you wear socks that are cut right at your ankles? I've worm crew socks whenever i wear my cleats and i'm fine.
no i wear drifit elite basketball socks which is the most surprising part, theyre very thick, It didnt bother me once until this past weekend and it tore up my entire heel

I'm curious about this too. I haven't been interested in any of Under Armour's previous offerings, but they seem to have gotten it right on the newest Nitro cleat. If I were on the market for a new cleat right now I would seriously consider them.

Those Louisiana Lafayette jerseys are nice. Upon first glance I thought the fade was a nice touch, but seeing that it's actually a fleur-de-lis pattern makes it even better. It's a subtle jersey without being completely cookie-cutter bland.

A few more cleat spots from the NFL preseason.

Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley each in a PE Alpha Talon. Nike is probably pretty upset that the only players wearing these cleats are linemen and quarterbacks, because they really tried marketing these heavy as an all-position cleat.

David Garrard wearing two different cleats. The first one is pretty clearly a pair of Alpha Speed TD, but the second one is less clear. It's either a PE Alpha Speed TD with the added fade, or more likely the same PE Alpha Talon that Fairley is wearing above.

What shoes (trainers) are issued to the schools? Are most of them still receiving the 'Air Edge'?

I'm feeling the font on Marshall's new jerseys
Just got my volt socks in today. Thanks to whoever posted the info originally

From the Fresno State athletics website:
When Pat Hill became Fresno State's head coach prior to the 1997 season, he wanted to reinvigorate San Joaquin Valley pride in the Bulldogs. Because Fresno State is the only Division I football program in the Valley, a 250-mile stretch in California's midsection from Bakersfield to Modesto, Hill wanted to make the Bulldogs the "Green Bay Packers of college football." As Coach Hill often states, Fresno State is not only representing Fresno, its representing the entire Valley.

This representation of the San Joaquin Valley is displayed in the form of a green "V" on the back of the Bulldogs' helmets. The green in the "V" is a symbol to the agricultural community of the Central Valley, which is the world's richest agricultural area in export dollars.

If anyone wants to know or missed out lacrossmonkey.com has the volt socks for $9.99 each and then it cost $9.99 for shipping - I ordered 3 pairs for just under $40.00 which is cheaper than anywhere else, even Nike charges $8.00 for shipping and ebay they are going for $30.00+

Not crazy about Fresno's new unis. Those sleeve/pants stripes look somewhat out of place and makes it look like a high school template. But the helmet stripe is a nice touch.

From the previous thread discussion of helmets. I did research project on helmets and the results from the article/study showed that price doesn't correlate to performance with helmets necessarily. Riddel Speed Revo got the best rating with 5 stars (the only 5 star helmet in the study). The 4-star helmets were basically equivalent to the 5-star and the 4-star included Schutt ION 4D, Schutt DNA Pro +, Xenith X1, Riddell Revolution (Original). But as of the past few years the Riddel VSR4 is the most widely used in both NCAA and NFL and that got a 1-star which is unacceptable. Inside the VSR4 it's basically crap foam and jaw pads.

Got those oregon nike combat volt socks from a friend a few days ago... so clean go great with my white/volt/blue huaraches

I'm curious about this too. My Super Speed TD 3/4 is one of the best football cleats I've ever owned, and if the Alpha Speed TD fits similarly then I think I'll pick up a pair to replace my Super Speeds when they wear out.

true to size for me. I had to go a half size up when i wore the Super Speed Lows, but the 3/4 were the same as the Alpha Speeds i Have now.
