The funny thing about Clausen refusing to give up #2 is that it wasn't even his first choice coming into the league. Clausen only took number 2 because punter Jason Baker wouldn't give him number 7

Worked out in my new Vapor Carbons today, and I must say they are sweet. At first they were a little stiff but as I ran they broke in nicely. Got my first flag football practice with a new team tomorrow so it should be interesting. Side note, I wish I wouldnt have slept on those volt socks.

Why the hell did they change them? The ones with the camo designs on the back of them this year look dumb as #!%%. Even the Nike sponsored athletes have still been wearing the ones from last year in pics that I've seen. I've seen recent pictures of Westbrook, Durant and LeBron still wearing them.

I didn't know they hit actual retail Niketowns. I know they hit the site and a few lacrosse sites. I'll have to Nikefind them if possible too...

nike team fly dri-fit shorts. they are basically the same shorts, minus the pockets. i wear em for flag football. the material is durable enough not to get torn when people are yanking at flags and miss.Originally Posted by PleaseSayTheBaby23

I wish I knew why they changed them. The Pro Vent first came in out 2005, and I'm not sure when the current fabric blend replaced it. I do see pros and college guys wearing the pro vent stuff, so it must still be out there, even though it's no longer for sale to the public. The fabric blend is 74% polyester, 14% nylon and 12% spandex, vs. the current 84% polyester and 16% spandex. Not sure if you guys have the same experience, but the current compression shirts are loose around my stomach area (and it's not a sizing issue), whereas the pro vent had great compression all around, like a real second skin.
I tried stocking up on them bc they're so durable and comfortable, I wear them for lifting and playing sports. The ones I have from 5 years ago are still in great condition, so at least I've still got those

As an attorney (and huge sports fan), I feel obligated to point out that this has nothing to do with courts or the legal system. Paying college athletes as a booster isn't illegal. It's against NCAA rules, but they can't take you to court for that.

To be honest when things like this happen in college sports ( Ohio State, Reggie Bush etc) I think its really hype in till they get caught
