School me on Lancer Evos!

I prefer STI's over Evo's, probably because I have a Wrx. I just love the sound they make and I prefer their looks more. But honesty, Evo's are amazing cars too. They respond much better to mods and are usually quicker than subarus. They both are AWD too which is a major plus. The only thing I would be worried about is the discontinuation of the Evo's, I'm not sure if that would affect anything or not.

That guy who owns the new STi and Evo should chime in.
Personally, the hell is homie thinking getting both cars? They are essentially the same.

Reliable, I've had a couple minor recalls I've gone in for but nothing major. I'm at 66k miles right now, running good as new. The car is way better than the STI, but for a daily the STI isn't bad. EVO has WAY more aftermarket. I only rock Japanese parts so my wallet took a hit this summer. The newer EVOs have a better tune, exhaust, color trip screen, side skirts, etc... I'd get one but I don't want to start over.

Nah, you gotta man up and pay your mom that $20k back and then trade in the Accord + more cash for the used Evo.

No way he does that.
Dude, 10-15k for an EVO? You'll be getting junk, I guarantee you that. High mileage, abused, been in a crash, etc.

Do the responsible and smart thing and just keep the Accord. Your mom wont be happy that you traded a car in that she put 20k down on.
Accords are mighty fine cars. Isnt there one NTer with a really nice grey one with grey/black Tenzo rims?

Heres some pics of modded Accords anyway. If I didnt have to go to Toyota (trade in) my mom woudve gotten an Accord instead of the Camry we got.

there are modded accords everywhere in The BX, a lot decent looking

OP buy an older car to track and keep the accord as the daily

Evos are pure rally cars adapted for street use.

Hands down the most versatile performance car you can buy...snow, sand, ect.

imo you get more bang for your buck with the 2015 STI. and im dead serious with that.

Throws are long, but firm. But long.
Dash sucks. Its worse than the OUTGOING subarus.
Interior room is eh.
LOL @ the trunk space tho. the car battery is in the trunk.
apparently the gas tank is tiny as hell. worse than the STI, but prolly not by much.
doesn't the EVO start higher than STI?
recaro seats are small imo. i get more comfort out of the WRX bucket seats. they are wider. then again subaru pushes recaro outside the states so...

both STI and EVO are rally proven with massive level of control of the drivetrain. so it comes down to other stuff i guess.

don't get me wrong, evo is a sexy car for the most part. ive seen some clean setups, and i know that a properly tuned and modded evo is gonna **** on any type of hemi or w.e.

i just think the STI is more value for the money (particularly the 2015) and it starts cheaper too (pretty sure). also with more cabin room, and good size trunk space, plus the standard features you get, the STI prolly is more practical in my book at least compared to evo.

interestingly you would think you could get a deal with Evos since they sit on the lot for so long, but they are still hard to bargain with. i mean they don't even make the car anymore and these days, no1 is copping evos, let a lone mitsubishis.
