That was something I was surprised to catch on my first viewing once I watched it the second time around

I wished they would have went to war at the end of that one episode instead of getting busted, it would have been crazy.

One of the youtube comments about the "My name is my name" scene:

Marlo: "My name is my name."

Spiros Vondas: "My name is not my name."

Perfectly summarizes the two groups. Marlo is all about street cred, whereas Vondas and the Greek are all about profit.

Yeah I caught that.

Nick Sobotka made in cameo in the series finale ending montage.

Did he have hands?

Did he have a face?

Yes?

Then it wasn't us.

Some of the more memorable scenes/moments from the series for me:

-The "snatch a life" scene between Avon and Stringer. That was the beginning of the end of their friendship.

- Piggybacking off of the 1st one, the waterfront scene between Avon and Stringer where they were reminiscing about growing up and their friendship when they were about to betray each other

- The alley showdown between Brother Mouzoune and Omar; real recognize real.

- Clay Davis when he took the stand at his trial. Straight bamboozled the jury and made the prosecution look foolish.

I'm on Season 1 again and i'm dreading Wallace getting shot.

Who were the kids he was taking care of? his siblings or just neighborhood kids w/no parents?

I'm guessing sibligns.. And all too real was the situation where his lil bro couldn't compute the textbook math but knew the count off rip...

me and my girl looked at each other like this undercover scum. acting all hardbody at work, but hanging out at rainbow clubs at night.

my favorite part is the rise of Marlow. thats my dude.

that dude Clay Davis is pure comedy..."I'm out here doing the Lawds work!" and "You think Clay Davis done huh?!"

i love this show. im just getting started on season five, but McNutty has lost his mind, but its also genius.

another funny scene is when McNutty is butt naked smashing the chick in the parking lot over the hood. and the police rolls up and he shows his badge and they keep it moving.

Dude was just trying to get out of that street life and just like many of the characters in the show (Carcetti, McNulty, etc.) , had to short-sell/sell out in order to move up. Yes, the man became a little punk towards his final demise, but looking back all dude ever wanted to do was get out of the drug game and get into a 'legit' business. The man went to community college and studied Macro Economics for Christ's sake.
