which is why nike is doing this.  no matter what supposed performance this shoe has, a 200 dollar hyperdunk is pretty arrogant on nike's part.
i hope not many people buy into this concept.

why can't this come out earlier my high school team is black/gold and ima senior this year damnn

I actually mention this idea when it came to Jordan retroes. Making two versions of the same retro, one with better quality than the other, so im not really mad of the idea.

Can it make me fly?...

the shoe will look the same but probably be a much better performing shoe. with that said, theres no way in hell i would spend 200 bucks on a pair of shoes i'm gonna play ball in. especially not nike shoes, which tend to have a shelf life of 6-8 weeks for me.

nike tries to do this every few years because soccer players are stupid enough to pay absurd prices for performance shoes. the problem is as soon as you raise the price ceiling, the shoes not labeled "elite" get worse and worse with each new model. with soccer, the vapor cleats are a perfect example. 200 bucks used to get you a performance monster, but as soon as they dropped that vapor "elite" (which is essentially the exact same shoe, but lighter) and saw people were willing to pay 400 for the same damn shoe they completely stripped all of the carbon fiber out of the shoe, started using cheap insoles, and made the shoe bulkier to create value for the "elite" model. now from nike soccer what you get for $400 is what you used to get for $200, what you get for $200 is what you get for $100, and so on down the line.

you guys better hope these shoes don't sell well, because if they do, the days of getting performance shoes for $100 dollars are long gone.

They have done this with the XI and the Foamposite One. Thats what happens when your main focus is trying to please investors.

The regular hyperdunk 2011s have heel and forefoot windows showing the zoom air

i have a pair of the black/white tb 2011s and they have a heel and forefoot window.

That made me chuckle.

i love most complain about the 200 price tag for a tech'd and modern performance shoe but will gladly pay 200 for a pair of retros that are essentially outdated in technology, so you are paying more for old tech and that is ok? hmmm nostalgia definitely makes nike money and not innovation apparently.

May I ask why? By high end Jordan release I meant XIs, limited and HOH releases. XIs are considered a luxury item amongst jordan retro releases

There is no such thing as high end Jordan release. The ones you mentioned are hyped, not high end.

So does anyone know what the differences are going to be exactly between the 2011 and the elites?
