Ya'll sound dumb as hell. 1 for thinking that's what killed the deal, 2 for talking about what others can and can't afford when you're so salty over not getting the discount.

Nothing, buy a new pair

If it gets to the point that the nubuck is dirty, throw them out and get a new pair, unless you like faded boots, then buy some nubuck cleaner from footlocker
 
I think Timberland should of have honor the 50% ... They should have better measures to deal with situations like this. At the end of the day, they ****** up and they aren't willing to take the L. BBB complaint will be made just because of principles.

Earlier this year Walmart employee ****** up by not pricing the Big Screens accordingly. However by the time they cought on to it people already had placed orders and Walmart honored it.

Yes this was an employee discount but he ****** up n it got out. Measures should of have been in place if this happen. IE limit numbers of transaction per code per day week etc. Have a cap on discount in the website flag codes if coming rapidly from different IPS. Just like any fraud prevention for credit cards.

Just another example of bad business.
 
Anyone try ordering a pair of the custom boots? How'd they turn out I was thinking of makin a pair
