OFFICIAL HOMELAND Thread | FINAL SEASON

Obvious Abu nahzir used the prince his man servant/handler is a double agent. Knowing how much money the prince uses and his fondness of this girl.He played them both for the perfect set up knowing the FBI isn't going to do anything to step on the royal families toes.I really like the pacing of this show

One of my favorite shows, on right now.

Sorta reminds me of that feeling from early The Killing, but I at least like most of these characters, instead of just 1 or 2.

And no way they #$@* up the ending like that.

speaking of claire daMes, anyone seen the clip where she was on the price is right? lol had her real name and what not.

Interesting show, I kinda wanna know %*@ is up with Brody already... i hate shows like this cause I can't find out til the final episode.

I really like the pacing of the show too.  The slow buildup is awesome.  Developing characters, not rushing into it.  Really liking it.

The only thing I am looking forward to on Sunday with the Niners on the bye.  Well, How to Make it, too.  But yeah, Homeland more.

For the first time, I thought tonights episode was ehhh. A little slow this week. Not a whole lot happened.

All I know is that voice on the phone that warned the woman that "there's bad traffic on the beltway" was chilling as hell.

Then her running up the stairs frantically, I thought she was going to shoot a rocket launcher at his car lol. Anyways, that means someone knows what Carrie is doing imo

Not necessarily. The caller could also be in the same neirborhood and noticed he had a tail. This show keeps getting better with each episode.

^Couldn't have been in the same neighborhood. Whoever warned the woman either has an inside man or was watching the dude from the college and noticed he was being tailed.

If it wasn't for the early flashbacks I would've been said Carrie just has an obsession with Brody for no reason other than w/e happened in Baghdad. Now she's grasping for straws, I think it's going down the path where she starts sleeping with Brody, they confide in each other, she learns some important details and possibly tries to save him in the end.

That whole vet support group scene was extra since it was clear she was trying to befriend him by making contact but it almost seemed his charm got to her.

another very solid episode

this show is great, i hope people are watching it, good to hear it got picked up for another season.

I'm not sure how long a show like this could last maybe 4-5 seasons tops.

but so far so good.

Spoiler [+]
i really hope they don't end up together, that would be too obvious and stupid

Good ep tonight. She got some nerve going in to her boss' house cursing him out cuz she's obsessed with Brody, there's still no clear evidence pointing to dude.

I can already see Brody smashing. Danes' character is mad loose and obviously unstable. It'll be crazy to see it happen now due to how much jeopardy she put her job in by pressing the matter so if that gets revealed she may have screwed herself.

Anybody else suspect a twist where Saul might be the one that gave dude the blade and the whole plan is to make it seem like Brody might be the one that turned? From the previews I have a feeling Brody passes the polygraph test which would make Carrie more obsessed and crazy about him.

Hmm very possible... When he went into the room with him he took both of his hands from underneath... Easy spot to slide him something.

Also there was no transcription of what he said to him in Arabic either so either it was nothing or we're just supposed to think it was nothing when really he was coaching.

Sounded like a prayer of sorts, he also prayed when the guy died. Outside of Brody, he is the only one who had contact with the dude so I guess we'd have to wait and see.

It being Saul would be a crazy twist but when did he get turned? I didn't suspect that but it's a good idea since he's constantly brushing off Brody as a sleeper without good evidence and the idea that an America has been turned.

Also if it is the case it doesn't change the fact that they coerced Brody in to killing his friend. They had to do that for some reason. It couldn't have been just to @%*+ with him.

Well there were also the 2-3 guys that jumped into the pile when he and Brody were scrapping... 1 or 2 guys held him down and the other got Brody stood up...

We don't know but it's possible, he might have been involved in the 911 events as well and have been "inside" all this time. Remember he said it himself that "everyone missed something that day".
It's also true that he did kill his friend but again we need more info on why, they might have told him that his friend has turned so they gave him a chance to set it all straight and he took his friends life, looks like they might touch up more on it next week.

As for the two guards handing the blade, the guys doesn't seems too relevant since they didn't even bother giving them some air time at all. They were just standing there and all of a sudden got between them. Plus that won't have as much impact if Brody or Saul did it. Possible but doesn't have that "wow" factor.

I'm just thinking of possibilities and it seems like they are making it too obvious that Brody is guilty.

I also just remembered the e-mail the guy provided that might have tipped off the professor, Brody had no way of knowing the e-mail was given but Saul might have known exactly who the email was going to implicate so might have warned the professor. Plus he also had the authorization to let Carrie search the professors house but he was hesitant, with good reason, but was that really the reason? Hmmmm... In the end, both Brody and Saul might have both been turned.
