Bill Evans - Spring Is Here & But Beautiful (ft. Stan Getz)

The Bad Plus - Everybody Wants To Rule The World

Christian Scott - The Eraser & Isadora

Idris Muhammad - Loran's Dance

Thread needed a bump. Savy music fans might recognize this song (the beginning of it).

I've seen him live a bunch of times. Always puts on a great show.

This is funny Roy Ayers story as told by Bobbito Garcia.

Just picked up Takuya Kuroda's Blue Note debut off of iTunes. I like it very much. There weren't any new vids from him from this release except for this trailer.

My mother literally just asked me if Eartha Kitt was still alive.
Love that song too. I'm really looking forward to Brazil's Summer Olympics opening ceremonies

Is that considered bossa nova or samba?

It's samba. It was originally written & recorded by Jorge Benjor (you might see his name as Jorge Ben or Jorge Ben Jor). Mendes covered it & got a big hit out of it...

This is a newer performance from him... Purists will say the original is much better...

Yup, I have heard that name before. It was probably in here too.

The weather today is just beautiful

Freddie King - Five Long Years & Tore Down

Post as many blues songs as you want Wes... Blues will heal you... :smokin Little Walter is the ish...

Don't mess with Texas... Another bad *** Texan. This is my favorite blues song at the moment. Was written & originally recorded by Eddie Boyd but has been covered by Muddy Waters, BB King, John Lee Hooker, among others. Freddie King's version is my favorite. Also love Tore Down...
