I feel like there is more tracks, like I got half of the album. Hopefully there will be a deluxe version.

Who is that on the beginning  of Sin City, song is

this album is 6/10. mediocre for kanye the media ogre
some good beats. not enough good bars.

This album is actually pretty good. The first half of the album is incredibly solid. Sin City suffers from weak production and Bliss while a decent song just feels oddly placed on this album. The remix at the end is just that, a remix. It's pretty much a filler not an album ender. But the opener, "To The World", bangs. That's the best track on the album and one of my favorite songs I've heard this year. Great production, R Kelly kills it and Kanye drops a great line at the end with "R. Kelly and the God of rap/sh***in' on you/holy crap".

Overall it's solid. It will get some good run in my car but once again it's a compilation so it will never be the greatest thing you've ever heard, but on the flip side it's a damn good compilation. And to echo everyone else in here hopefully there's a deluxe version Tuesday with some bonus tracks.

Does anyone know if the movie is going to be included with the album purchase? I hear this isn't a deluxe version of this.
 
i go out on weekends... so this is :smokin to me... clearly aimed at radio/club play... but the beats are on point, and about what I expected lyrically, with a few surprises (Ghost & Raekwon) ... i think some ya'll need to realize Kanye has several lanes he goes with his music.

somethings not right here...no Mos, Hudson, Mannie, or No ID??? from everything we seen and heard about leading up to this album and none of them are included??? i thought they pushed it back to add Mos??? what happened to "Perfect *****"??? this album feels way too rushed to have been in the making for so long...i feel like someone's playing a trick on me...
 
Album is 6/10, I don't know how any of y'all can say this is great, Kanye stans are getting almost as bad as Wayne stans :smh:

"Creeper" and "Cold" are trash, Big Sean should've been left off "the one" and "clique" and "I don't like". The Dream makes higher almost unbearable unless you just fast forward thru the hook.

Highlights are Sin City, New God Flow, To The World, and The Morning.

Very, VERY underwhelming.

As far as compilations go MMG Vol. 1 > Cruel Summer.
 
How you announce pushing the album back a second time for a couple of Mos Def features and he ain't on here.

Highlight for me is the Ghost verse on New God Flow.

And i'm probably alone on this, but the best song one this ***** ain't a rap song.

Listened to it twice and the Cudi song is the only bad one. Higher and The Morning is :smokin....

The beat change ups on The Morning
 
1st listen over with..well I hate that it ended on I dont like...Thats the ^%$# I dont like (pun intended)...should have been a bonus track

Should have ended with The One atleast...

Stand out tracks from 1st listen: Sin City, The One, The Morning, Higher, To the World.....I already heard everything else before hand

New God Flow and Cold sound great and crisp

Creepers is cool..doesnt fit in with the rest of the album...

8/10...Good album (another pun...lol) but its definitely underwhelming...so much talent on the roster and work done on this album...it should have been more epic...

Mannie Fresh co-produced a song or two on the album.

Still curious what happened to Perfect Pitch? Maybe Kim's mom had a fit or something

This is an odd album.

Tracks 1-6: 9/10
Tracks 7-12: 4/10 or worse

I've almost never seen an album change up like this at the halfway point.

Also... did anyone else notice Kanye (or whoever was producing) sampling some of his older sounds throughout this album? Especially in Sin City. I think they took small cuts of like three/four songs from 808s, listen at 0:10, that's definitely "Amazing."
