So, as some of you know, besides my main career I also work for a big news media company.

Today I got an email from what I assume to be Kanye's street team/PR trying to encourage promotion for "Only One" and future projects.

But when I was in the office and looked at my phone and saw From: Kanye West, then checked the sender email KanyeWest@ _______ . ________ .com I was like "what the ****?" at work

  It took me like 30 seconds to a minute to remember it prob wasn't him personally emailing me, but the stan in me got super confused like "he saw my posts on Niketalk!"  I'm still not entirely sure why he emailed me.

Still I guess if they're officially reaching out to media outlets then Yeezy season is officially upon us.

Can't be worse than '14.

Sean's got me interested. Ye's album is gonna be GOD. New Drake album. The Weeknd dropping? This year is gonna pop.

DSP can't be worse than HOF though. TBF I should give it a second chance, but I wasn't feeling the production. It just turned me off, but I'll give it another go.

Kanye West is apparently prepping a North American tour for 2015. Let's hope this coincides with an album release?

It appears as though Kanye West is planning a North American tour for 2015, this, according to the Diamond Ball auction, which we know about thanks to a Rihanna tweet.

Basically, Rih Rih tweeted a link to this auction, the proceeds of which benefit the Clara Lionel Foundation. When you click the link, you'll see a number of expensive and exclusive items up for grabs, which include a Rihanna Tour Experience ($15,000) as well as a Kanye West Tour Experience ($15,000). On the Kanye West Tour Experience ("courtesy of Roc Nation"), the Diamond Ball auction coincidentally lets it slip that Kanye is going on a North American tour in 2015. The description of what you'll receive if you bid on the Yeezy Experience is as follows:

Be Kanye West’s special front row VIP guest for his upcoming North American 2015 tour. Experience a rare opportunity meet & greet with the icon.

This once-in-a-lifetime moment includes:

After Rihanna spilled the news about Kanye going on tour later this year (see above), it’s now looking like she’ll be joining him along the way.

The news comes via Complex, who received a photo/flyer from a “close, reliable” source that exposes both superstars to be hitting the road together this year.

While nothing has been officially confirmed, the likelihood of this tour happening is probably very high. After all, they both have albums on the way, which will feature their new collaboration “FourFiveSeconds”. Look for them to perform that new single at this Sunday’s Grammy’s Awards.

We’ll keep you posted on any further announcements and/or release dates.

Damn i used to say 808s was trash. i listened to it all fully today and i can't believe i didn't appreciate it before. i can relate to it up to heartless, and maybe love lockdown. hopefully my relationships don't turn out like the rest of the album. you could really feel kanye's pain through his music in this.

That’s why Kanye is my favorite rapper. He makes music from his soul. You can always tell the difference between people who just read sensationalized headlines and hear the radio smashes and the ones who actually listen to Kanye’s albums because it’s usually the former who are the most critical of him. I’ve never met someone who gave Ye a real chance and didn’t like him or at the very least understand who the real Kanye is.

But I guess it’s the most controversial artists that turn out to be the greatest.

Also, Coldest Winter has to be the most heartbreaking song on the album once you understand the double entendre.
 
Agreed. Its no wonder the general public doesnt give him a fair chance (add to that he has made himself a fairly easy target and easy to hate). They dont understand. If you actually listen and comprehend what hes saying and why he's saying it, a lot of his music is really impactfull.

Yup. My favorite part of the song is when he’s doing the chorus for the third time and rather than “Will I ever love again?” he says “I won’t ever love again…”

It further cements the feelings of the death of his mother and break up with Alexis Phifer. I get chills every time. Kanye finds the craziest ways to connect with the listener. One of the reasons College Dropout was so successful is because he was able to capture the inner feelings, thoughts, motives, and experiences in young people’s everyday lives…because that’s what he had dealt with. Spaceship and All Falls Down are great examples of this. As well as other songs like Never Let Me Down, Through The Wire, and Jesus Walks that provide social commentary and providing story telling about his personal experiences in a way that no one had done before.

Ye is just a true artist man. No one can ever tell me his music is trash. Nobody.
