i dont see Kanye wearing s.carters....Kanye is bigger than Jay Z, its just Jay Z stays in the pc lane. 

bet/ mtv awards dont mean ****, its basically a chance at free advertisement for whatever new venture said artist is doing. adidas, yeezus movie, new album etc....just wait on it

This will never happen though. Jay has that impact because he is politically correct 24/7, he plays the safe lane, married the biggest star in the world, and every move of his is calculated and caters to his audience. He's a hustler. A media politician. 

Kanye is vulnerable, 100% honest, authentic, speaks his mind, right or wrong, and fueled by passion. Polarizing. People will either love him or hate him.  He will always have haters because of this.

And take excelling with a grain of salt. Because I'm starting to wonder if either is really choosing to excel in music anymore or if they've basically both moved on to other priorities....

well of course jay would rap circles around ye. I don't listen to kanye for the hard hitting bars and double entendres. I listen for the feels :frown: Even ye himself said he is not a "real rapper". It's obvious that Kanye is turning his attention to other things (family, fashion, amusement park?) but even he understands that without putting new music out he won't be relevant.
