I am not gonna rargue with you guys. There's no point. You guys clearly have your minds made up. To say Kanye is "hands down" the best performer of all time, and "its not even close" are both absurd statements.

Have you guys ever seen U2? The Rolling Stones? Michael Jackson? Pink Floyd? Madonna? Paul McCartney? Elton John? Ozzy Osbourne? Frank Sinatra? Tony Bennett? Stevie Wonder?

Get my point? I love Kanye West. He is one of my favorite rappers of all time. But to make comments like he is The absolute best ever is just silly.

And Cragmatic....do you realize how dumb your last post was? You say Kanye is THE best and the very next sentence you state you have seen 2 others put on as good of a show as he has. :lol:. How is one guy hands down the best while you yourself agree that two others can put on as good a show? Solid Logic.

All of this. There's so many epic performers and even in the now time, but it's all subjective because if you don't like that particular groups music you won't think they're a great live performer. I've seen Kanye live and it was no doubt one of the best Hip-Hop performances I've seen, but not the best. The Fugees when The Score was out was without a doubt the most live and incredible Hip-Hop show I've seen. They flat out killed it. That's magic I've never seen replicated and it was in a small 500 person club. Absolutely insane.
 
Feel like cats are only appalled at calling Ye' the best performer bc he's a hip hop artist. Insert any legendary rock band in place of Ye & all of a sudden the statement becomes credible :rolleyes
 
Not joining this convo (although I do think Ye is an incredible live performer who puts his all into his shows. I think the venue, crowd, and mood you're in all factor into how good a live show is or not but I also think some artists are just objectively amongst the best live performers.) but I'd just like to point out that the people who are getting riled up by Kanye stans calling him the best performer ever, are being equally ridiculous in their efforts to prove the counter.

dland24, you named Elton John and Stevie Wonder as equal or better live performers, both of whom are piano players who remain seated the entire show, and the latter of whom needs to be guided to said seat because he's blind and otherwise couldn't find his way around the stage. I just found a few of the names you threw out to be funny.

Elton jon, stevie and US are amateur compared to Kanye. I mean in their own right they are amazing but they just aren't on his level.
 
I understand there were and are many great performers but Kanye is up there.

I wish i had the chance to see Michael Jackson perform.

There's no doubt. Dude puts on a hell of a show and at a time where that's really lost in the world of hip hop. He brought back when rappers used to really put on a production instead of just standing there on stage with a DJ.
