At this point I think you can just chalk it up to being a rumor. According to the press, Apple tried unsuccessfully to get both Kanye and Beyonce before they decided to go with Tidal.
In reality I can't see Kanye doing Jay like that anyway. You know how big of a PR hit Tidal would take after one of the biggest rappers in the game (who also happens to be a close friend) got up on that stage and tweeted out all that **** only to ditch them and go with a competitor?

A lot of people really hate Yeezus still. The album definitely grew on me and in hindsight I've learned to appreciate the album. For what it's worth for all the Yeezus haters- would you prefer no album since 2011 as oppose to the one we got in 2013?

That's cool. Lucky for y'all Jeru the Damaja dropped right after with that real hip hop you needed. No one's forcing you to listen to Yeezus. In fact I wish the millions of alleged album haters would have sworn off any venue that played that trash like a lot of them said they would so the show tickets would have been easier to come by. ****'s still sold out, despite how much everyone hated it. Makes no damn sense.
