on another note, going to the ye show friday in the super seats! will be like my 6-7x seeing kanye n should be dope to see him in a diff setting/scene.

ps. HIGHLY suggest the park and ride (its only 5-6$ and their busses get access to their own lane once ur near the bowl so you cut thru the traffic wayy quicker than ur uber/cars. And feel free to bring in food/drinks to have during the show (I think security has been pretty lax if your bringing in somethin to smoke, etc since the hoards are trying to get thru the gates all night. lol

I saw him perform at Bonnaroo in Tennessee last year. I loved MNIMN and he opened up with the intro, which should have been great, but again, it was literally just the backtrack playing and he would occasionally say one or two lines. The whole first verse was the backtrack and pusha not even rapping.

Rap shows with backtracks are super weak, and it made the whole show incredibly disapponting. By the middle he started rapping more so I don't know if they were having technical issues or what.
 
@cragmatic ah gotcha. yeah i forget if it was bonnaroo or pitchfork or somethin when their flights got messed up n they barely made it n didnt get to soundcheck beforehand. he's usually on point with no backtrack tho. all good

are most of ya'll that want to check out/buy the merch really going to get there around 6 pm? i remember the bowl only has 1 small merch tent near the entrance/gates and 1 near the seats entrance..hopefully wont be a madhouse
 
yall got seats merch shouldnt be a problem

only dowside about ga is skipping merch to get my spot in pit :lol: then i gotta pray after the concert it over it isnt sold out

Makes sense. I think I heard that pitchfork set was pretty bad too. I'm sure seeing him on his own tour vs a festival show would be much better. I've always heard he's a good performer. If I got the chance to see him again I'd definitely go for it. I've been rocking with clipse since the day I heard Grindin. Hell, I remember Malice being on a No Limit song.... I'm really dating myself with that one lol.

Hell Hath No Fury is one of my favorite albums ever, was so happy when I walked into the record store and they randomly had it on vinyl, white vinyl too. I just need to find Lord Willin now.

My expectation: He performs a song but not before he talks about where he was when he wrote it and where he is now. He'll definitely explain why he chose to do 808s and Heartbreaks in its entirety.

My hopes: he releases his new album before the show and they sell Yeezy boosts at the merch table

does anyone remember how security was at the bowl? i feel it was lax but going to try to take in the camera to shoot at this one...
 
^this vlog i watch on youtube got some flack from security for recording in the bowl. i would assume anything with a detachable lens is a no-go.
