:pimp:

didn't even know Kanye was bringing out a new album.

checked out his SNL performances...

terrible :smh:

I think 808's is MY favorite Kanye album.
I'm not feeling what I've heard from this album so far, tbh.
Will wait 'til the album comes out to judge...

Sports will use Black Skinhead for commercials and stuff....im calling it now lol

And this is the guy that's praised by the Hip-Hop community?Really?

Man Ye is trash and has been for a very long time :rolleyes

Always check for him though, in hopes that i'll hear something along the lines of CD, Late Registration, but he's so far removed from that.

He's trying sooooo hard to "push the boundaries" of his music and it isn't working at all

I guarantee you Drake, Jay-Z, Wale, Cole, Sean, all will have far superior projects than Kanye. Smh.

People who arent feeling Black Skinhead...did you like Power when you first heard it?...because that had the rock influence/sample as well

Sean and Wale will definitely not, Drake maybe. I dont listen to Cole.

You dudes are so lame that every time something like 808s or these tracks come out, you are crying for the old Ye. "All Falls Down" music is NOT coming back. He's a progressive artist. No one was feeling "Who Gon Stop Me" when it came out, crying about the dubstep, now look at it. It's not Stan on me to say he knows what he's doing... his track record is great. He hasn't put out anything less than a 7/10, unless you're counting Cruel Summer.

This is different from Wayne doing Rebirth. Wayne has 0 musical capability besides stringing metaphors together. No actual tonal or melodic concept. Some bootleg rockers threw Rebirth together and leaned-out Wayne screamed on it. Kanye is far more advanced as a musician.

According to Wikipedia, he's got No ID and Skrillex on Yeezus, so it sounds like more dubstep is coming. Also more Daft Punk. It also mentions Young Chop, Chief Keef and Push as guests. You think they're going to be rocking out? It will be a blend of styles, don't worry, it won't be like Rebirth.

I really like Black Skinhead after listening to it two more times. Sorry it's not trap music.

dude said ye pushing the boundaries of his music isnt working
u forgot about MBDTF or WTT?

will cop 6th regardless but if i dont feel his new sound i hope he has atleast some tracks that sound like MBDTF :smokin

Saw it mentioned but...

He said "I keep it 300 like the romans"

I'm assuming he's referencing 300 the movie

about Spartans

which are Greek

smh

and it made it on a song onto a cd, doesn't he have people checking for this type of stuff?

:smh:

From jump " power" just grabs you and sends chills through your body, so I don't see the two tracks in the same atmosphere
Now " new slave" gave me that effect but I am wondering is it something in the water in Chicago , first lupe( still like him) wilds out and is making decent records but no where near the quality product he used to make, now ye has been shaky to me since "cruel summer and wtt", I don't know, I hope he comes through with some heat but I am more excited about " born sinner" at this point
Edit: I can compare "bsh" to "stronger" though because I hated that song so much but eventually it wore me down and now one of my favorite ye songs
Did anybody else like "Go Hard" with Khaled, another joint that gets over looked just because it was in that era of 808s'

Honestly, I'm a big Yeezy fan and I understand where you guys are coming from saying that his style has changed. I also understand why you would not like it. But the route he is going is so much more creative. I mean the man is an artist first and then a musician. When CD and LR came out he was more of musician but now it's bigger than that. He doesn't just want something that sounds good. He wants to captivate your attention and sometimes that means unusual methods of delivery like the runaway movie or his crazy visuals. But it's different, he's trying to diverge from the average music video/single combo. He may not be the best rapper, but he has one of the most creative minds of our era. Don't tell me he's not creative either, because the projection of his song and visuals across 66 buildings around the globe is unheard of. That's what captures our attention, it's new, no one has done it before.

'Kanye has been trash for years now........but I always check for his music.'

Alright.

Also, I like what I've heard from the new songs, but I always reserve complete judgment until I hear it in CDQ.

Kanye stans are on a whole other level compared to other artists' stans.

Read some more pages and some of the stuff is just ridiculous. I imagine some people in here have a Yeezus shrine.

Both have a rock samples was what i inferring...and I have to disagree, Black skinhead is energetic imo...

Introducing that sound to listeners that probably dont really listen to other genres, cant really not expect the reaction like im reading on here

But hopefully this album will have something for everyone...
