OFFICIAL Ye fka "kanYe West" x G.O.O.D. Music Thread - ¥$ (AKA YE X TY DOLLA SIGN) - VULTURES (NOW AVAILABLE WOWWWW)

lmao yall trippin, he only reads what is written for him on the paper, why proofread a ghostwriter, you already paid for.

Dudes are funny

If he was rapping about Balmain and Dior then y'all would say that he's changed and that it's the same old **** . . . . now that he's trying to have some social commentary, he's a hypocrite

What would you have wanted him to rap about . . .

Kanye stans are on a whole other level compared to other artists' stans.

Read some more pages and some of the stuff is just ridiculous. I imagine some people in here have a Yeezus shrine.
51% of this thread is doing too much

25% trolling

14% responding to troll

10% real discussion

those statistics are factual, i checked

Played the performances back again & I still can't mess with Black Skinhead. I've enjoyed rap mixed with rock in the past & have no problem with those types of tracks, but that track was a poor attempt, imo.

New Slaves is a solid track though

Both have a rock samples was what i inferring...and I have to disagree, Black skinhead is energetic imo...

Introducing that sound to listeners that probably dont really listen to other genres, cant really not expect the reaction like im reading on here

But hopefully this album will have something for everyone...
I feel you, my musical taste is all over the place( except death metal) but I was completely( still am) ignorant to daft punk, so " stronger" made me look up the sample
But I have to hear a mastered sample of" bsh" before I can make a true assessment...
Ye is musically a genius but he has made some miss steps just like all great artist, I think what's hendering him at this point is all these outbursts and the guidance of his mom gone, to me he has too many "yes" men throughout his staff and it is hurting him and turning even yeezus Stan's off... I am hoping for a good album but I saw chief keef was supposedly on this album and " That's the ish I don't like"

"Black Skinhead" sounds very Death Grips-esque.  At least to me it does.

I like it.  "New Slaves" has grown on me a little as well.

People who arent feeling Black Skinhead...did you like Power when you first heard it?...because that had the rock influence/sample as well
From jump " power" just grabs you and sends chills through your body, so I don't see the two tracks in the same atmosphere
Now " new slave" gave me that effect but I am wondering is it something in the water in Chicago , first lupe( still like him) wilds out and is making decent records but no where near the quality product he used to make, now ye has been shaky to me since "cruel summer and wtt", I don't know, I hope he comes through with some heat but I am more excited about " born sinner" at this point
Edit: I can compare "bsh" to "stronger" though because I hated that song so much but eventually it wore me down and now one of my favorite ye songs
Did anybody else like "Go Hard" with Khaled, another joint that gets over looked just because it was in that era of 808s'

Not to get on you but only is this said in rap and I hate it. That's why so many albums are trash now.

Every interview "Oh this album got something for everyone. Street songs, songs for the clubs, real songs, got something for the ladies with Chris Brown, blah blah"
**** all that. Make real *** music and just make it work. I love when an artist doesn't try to please everyone and maximize sales. Some people aren't gonna get it and they never will. That's fine.

Haha even as a huge fan/stan....Kanye definitely had some missteps...Cruel summer :smh:

well im saying that based on what ive heard so far....not kanye...i dont think he cares about what people want to hear, he just makes whatever he feels like making i guess...

And this is the guy that's praised by the Hip-Hop community?Really?

Man Ye is trash and has been for a very long time :rolleyes

Always check for him though, in hopes that i'll hear something along the lines of CD, Late Registration, but he's so far removed from that.

He's trying sooooo hard to "push the boundaries" of his music and it isn't working at all

I guarantee you Drake, Jay-Z, Wale, Cole, Sean, all will have far superior projects than Kanye. Smh.

700

^ pusha ALWAYS comes correct :pimp:

cruel summer gets a lot of undeserved hate though :smh:

it wasnt a classic but it wasnt terrible either lets not act like cruel summer didnt take over 2012

^ good comparison with death grips (makes me want to listen to the money store now)

I am gonna wait for the tracks to officially drop to pass my judgement....

Does anyone else think the cover looks a little like Michelangelo's David? they seem to have some of the same facial features but the cover just looks smashed and stretched out
400

But I swear everyone hates Kanye's new music until the album drops and everyone says its flames and eats it up like hotcakes....

kanye will do that to you :pimp:

even the haters cant hate.. for long

waiting to hear the album in full before passing judgement as well.

but on surface not feeling both of these songs. i listen to other genres but that has nothing to do with kanye and the direction these tracks are going.

Seems like in this thread anyone who likes the new tracks is a Stan.

Plus y'all can call em Duke da God and Hova and refer to rappers as "da gawd" and laugh at Charlemagne the God, but "Yeezus" is just too much.

On top of that what is wrong with these Black people getting so riled up about a set of symbols and terms that were forced upon them by folks who hated them, killed them, sold and bought them as property, raped them out of boredom and for recreation, etc.?

Cats mad that Kanyes talking some anti-consumerism stuff even though he's ballin? Ok. Let me know what you would rather him talk about.

I love Pusha, but this dude won't stop talking about caine and guns.
Hell jeezy do the same damn thing tho lol, except the song with neyo...smh
But I feel you, I was saying people forgot about pusha because big Sean definately in my eyes hasn't been the only one keeping good music alive, plus commons' last album wasnt that bad either, just wish he could make another " Like water ...." Or "The Corner" record
Curious how the clipse are going to make another record when malice is on his mason betha grind lol
