Yo, I **** with this album. It is very different and very out there but I can rock with it.

Aside from "On Site" there are some great songs on here. I'm such a hypocrite but my views on "Black Skinhead" have taken a complete 180, that song in the car is too much....

I'd rank this toward the bottom of his discography but it's still a good album. I need more "Bound" and less "On Site" ****, Bound is straight incredible.

can't really rock with this like i hoped i would

it's not terrible, but for a kanye solo effort . . . not that good

mybe it has to grow on me but it's looking like he hurt his legacy/streak with this

really hoping the deluxe is different

Ya'll emotional as **** in here. Dudes mad cuz people don't like the album, dudes mad cuz people do like the album.

This. Ye started the album with some BS then ended it with some greatness.

I feel like a lot of people wanted Kanye to play it safe when he's really never done that in his whole career. He's never really made a pure rap / hip-hop album IMO. Even CD was soooo different from everything that was out at that time.

I strait don't care what kinda music artist make (genre/sound) just make it good. I can appreciate that. This???? Wtf??? Sound like 30 great songs smushed into a bad lp. Minimalism? I must not know wtf minimal is. 808s was minimal, imo. This? More like RANDOM sounds, screams, patwa and bass.

Album is solid .4 out of 10

It's not that it's different. Some of these songs just sound like a mess. Lyrically he's not saying anything other than New Slaves. LR didn't sound like anything at that time and it was still a masterpiece, same with Dark Fantasy. It's a nice joint to vibe to but the substance ain't there.

Dudes REALLY gon be pissed now.

"Last night my chicks came in twos, and they both suck like they came to lose"

Only tracks I dig: New Slaves, Blood on the Leaves (cus it sounds like C-Murder : dwn 4 my...), Send it Up, Bound 2. All in all, to much the f goin on.

Respect tho for putting Capleton and Beanie Man on it

Watch The Throne was Kanye's last best effort, everything after that was downhill. Cruel Summer had some moments some stuff was cringe worthy. i have no urge whatsover to listen to this again. album sounds gay as ****

I'm Day 1 Kanye fan all the way back to the Get Well Soon mixtape, and that MTV spot he got as an up & coming artist..

And this album is bad. 808s went outside of the box and had some emotion, some drive, and some passion.

This was my snap reaction to each song..

On Sight - meh. Beat completely takes you out of the song. Wish he did more with the break in the middle of the song 2/10
Black Skinhead -sounds better than previous times I heard it. But still lacks something 6/10
I Am A God - The Reggae at the beginning doesn't work.. Beat takes you out of the song like On Sight does. Screaming drags it to 3/10
New Slaves - Misses the mark on a song he wants to have some transcendent message with curious puns that ruin any serious message. 5/10.
Hold My Liquor -A song I actually like. But is absolutely ruined by being focused around an awful Chief Keef. Had he not done the Chef Keef hook on Hold My Liquor, it would be a very good song. But he didn't. 4/10
I'm in It - I'm convinced on Yeezus, Kanye has created the worst placement of Reggae/Dancehall on hip hop tracks in history.. 3/10.
Blood on the Leaves-Severe overproduction, that doesn't always mesh together. Drags down the quality of song, overall good track 6/10.
Guilt Trip - Beat has an amazing vibe to it. Makes it much better than it is. 6/10
Send It Up - Sigh 2/10. Might be the worse track on the album.... And of course more misplaced and awful Reggae/Dancehall
Bound 2 - best song on the album 9/10

Average 4.3/10 And I'm right there with that rating. At best a 5.

Songs I truly like - Bound 2, Blood on the Leaves, Guilt Trip
Songs that I don't hate - Black Skinhead, New Slaves
Songs that have been deleted - On Sight, I Am A God, Hold My Liquor, I'm In It, Send it Up

Take away: A swing and a miss on most tracks in which he overproduces and rather than letting the right elements of the beat breathe he overproduced by adding more and more elements and effects that took away from the music, the flow of the song, and exposed bad song creation.

Kind of ironic. Bound 2 sounds like it would be his worst song on his best album. But actually its his best song on his worst album. Pretty much what I think of this new drop.
