All those feels.

Yup....

A lot of the album has some of those feels...

Hold My Liquor.... too relatable... :smh:

Before leaving and assuring Jake’s parents that he hadn’t been traumatized by our impromptu listening party, Jake had his own line of questioning for me. “So he’s rich? And he’s famous? And he can buy whatever he wants?”

“Yep,” I said.

“Then why is he so angry?”

I drove home wondering the same thing. I suppose the only answer I could give to Jake the next time I saw him was, “because Can J West is an artist.”

:smh:   Jake alot smarter than you give him credit for

To say the least.

Dudes in here stonefacing a 6 year old. Mad at infants for keeping it realer than they ever could.

Because of Kanye West.

Esto no puede ser la vida.....

i thought i was alone fam :frown:

that part alone made me love the song so much more

IF YOU LOVE ME SO MUCH THEN WHY'D LET ME GOOOOOOOOAWOAWOOOAAAAHHHHHHHHH......

Cudi's part got me singing my heart out and **** when it comes on  :smh:

And I know I've said it before but god damn Justin Vernon did the damn thing on this project. Loved his ending vocal on "I Am a God," such great stuff.

Saul Williams actually raps about what Kanye wanted to get across on this album. Forgot about that dude and his projects. One of his album has Trent Reznor on board too if any of ya'll want to check it out. Of course it's not super edgy 2deep4u wannabe gangsta grillz in the trap album ,but it's not shabby either.

I don't think Good A** Job will come out. Was that even a confirmed title? Because if it ever was I'm confused.
I mean he mocks college and how its supposed to get you a good job in the skits on College Dropout
I don't see why he would name an album that would support the idea that college gets you a good job when he clearly disagrees with that hence the skits

Anyways...Yeezus is very very good! i love it more and more each time I listen to it.
This is also coming from a guy who used to hate Kanye, so I'm not the typical "everything Kanye puts out is genius" stan
Not like that makes my opinion anymore valuable.
Just letting you guys know that I'm new to Kanye and this is the first time I've ever been aware of a new album of his coming out.
In other words i'm a bit of a noob. So this is all new and exciting to me! haha

Interested in seeing how Yeezus will inevitably influence other people in Hip-Hop.

I'll just leave this here...

When i first read the tracklist and saw I Am A God

I was legit laughing hard as hell my exact words were "Man I Cant deal with this ****** ego, is he even serious"

It's just sad that everyone is laughing at him for recognizing his God within, when you could be doing the same thing.

Kanye isn't stupid. I listened to this album about 4 times thoroughly now and it's not junk or jibberish, by far.

This. So much hate smh

Black people cant be gods though. Were slaves. Let white Jesus tell it. They brought us over here, gave us a white god to enslave our minds along with our bodies and have us thinking they're THE god and if we EVER try to claim it, were either crazy or a radical. They dont even need chains anymore. Our minds are enslaved. We arent and can never be godly because, obviously Jesus is white.

New slaves.

Friend sent this to me. Thought it was :wow:

LR AND GRADUATION #'S

his sales are weird, its like he sales more every time on da first week but overall it bottoms out faster.

that 808's drop... that people have spoken..i hated that album.

that's how hip hop sales are ^^
big first week numbers and then who cares.

i don't think any other genre(artists, fanbase, blogs, etc). makes a bigger deal about FIRST week sales than hip hop does :smh:

^ It's the downloading era. Wayne's sales look a lot like that.

The album flows a little better for me w/o On Site. Black Skinhead sets a better tone.

Listening tore up off grey goose it all makes sense. It all sounds better under the influence of alcohol. weakest song to me is I'm in it.

Don't kill me but I Wonder is a top 3 song from Kanye. One of his true forgotten gems.

Just for that one song, I like graduation the most out of all his albums.

Thats the best song on that album so I see that, but its admist trash like Good Life, Drunk and Hot Girls, Champion, The Glory, and Everything I am.

I'm not a big graduation fan myself. The only songs i really liked were good morning and can't tell me nothing. Most of the songs were girly/feel good beats that were OK at best to me. It doesn't help that bittersweet was omitted.
