OFFICIAL Ye fka "kanYe West" x G.O.O.D. Music Thread - ¥$ (AKA YE X TY DOLLA SIGN) - VULTURES (NOW AVAILABLE WOWWWW)

Damn, where's the re-up?

Folks talking about this **** was looking like Reboot

Yeah I know LMFAO, and I don't listen to their ******** music either.

so LMFAO are genius revolutionary artists like Kanye?!? lol

"party rock" and "yeezus" are two different sounds to me. I don't see anyone dancing or partying to yeezus, and they def aren't playing it in the club.
Crown is a computers different beat/vibe to me than anything on Yeezus. I don't see any parallel that is trying to be made.
Yes they are.

the 3D in that video is horrible

That can't be the final version. I hope that's why it was pulled.

i dont know man....i cant....i cant defend this one lmao

I think Kanye's concept for this album is:
How much money can I make off of an album with the least amount of effort put into it.
Bingo.

The difference between Ye and Jay, is that Ye doesn't only care about commercial success.

He actually took the risk to drop an album that may not sell big, just because he wanted to do something different. Jay-Z would never do that.

Jay-Z only has "longevity" because he's keeping himself relevant by doing non-hip hop related things.

Trash is trash.

Cole outselling Kanye now, and then this happened.

If Kanye cared about one thing in the past it was quality. Not anymore.
I can understand the angle that people think Yeezus is trash or flopped sales wise but that doesn't mean Kanye's career is falling off. It just means he tried to do something different musically and it wasn't received well. From a musical standpoint he's earned the right to experiment. We all know his next album will probably be fire.

He still has a better track record than Jay-Z among music fans and will go down as the better artist. If we're talking about the music. If we're talking about owning percentages of sports teams or making business deals with tech companies that's a different story.

Son said better track record then jay-z

I don't see how any effort wasn't put into this album considering how many different producers he worked with. Ni**as always just talkin to talk.

That's false

Pretty much every solo album dude has dropped has been a classic, bordline classic. or just pretty good . Out of 6 solo albums he's gave you 4 classics . When people can make an argument for almost all your solo albums to be classics, what is that saying? People can say what they want about the man but he arguably has the best track record in hip hop history.

I liked the Black Skinhead video

I saw it in full screen on the KW website . . . it fit the theme of the song well, the vid exactly matches the song

I feel like Kanye is the Tarantino of hip-hop.

They both excel at taking what other people have done and making it better / improving on it
