Okay, disregarding my post above, this @#$# will BANG in the club and I'll be going crazy to this when I'm drunk lol. Still don't give Ye the pass for the subpar verse though.

Can someone clarify the date that the album drops. I've read Sept 4th and some places are saying Sept 7th.

The 5th is my birthday so im trying to find out if and when I can get loose to this. NO BRUNO

Billboard says the 4th. I can understand why people are saying the 7th, though - since that's a Tuesday.

Ehh...

As a collective, the music don't match this "avant garde" aura they have.

****** in Complex acting like they the meanest team ever or something.

theyre not the meanest team ever...but, they have POTENTIAL to be lightyears ahead of YM nd MMG...

wayne nd ross put their crews on, got all types of hype nd radio play...cats aint had such an easy assist since hov dame nd them...

personallu, im not a nter that worships everything ye touches... i appreciate his artistry.. i think cudi nd big sean are the lamest kind of lame...im sited of hearing millz yell nd nicki spit gibberish every time i turn on the radio...

i think another team "taking over" will be nice for rap...especially considering GOODS collective efforts lately sound much much better than the repetitive MMG tracks or YM just plain becoming corny lately...

just my thoughts lady and gentlemen...

Kanye West, Skrillex Team Up On New Song
'I did some music with Kanye ... it's going to be the first song on his new album,' Skrillex says. But which album is he talking about?
By James Montgomery

Coming soon: A collaboration between Skrillex and Kanye West?

Well, it seems the answer is yes, though we're not exactly sure when (or even where) that collabo will materialize ... though we suspect that's because even Skrillex himself doesn't know the answer to those questions.

"I did some music with Kanye," he told The Daily Beast. "And from what I know, it's actually going to be the first song on his new album."

Cool. Of course, the only point of contention seems to be what new album Skrill was talking about ... their team-up could either appear on 'Ye's upcoming G.O.O.D. Music release, Cruel Summer (due September 4), or his sixth solo album, which producer No I.D. recently told MTV News is also in the works:

"I'm not working on that [Cruel Summer] album, I'm working on his album," I.D. said. "This is Kanye. You know what to expect from the family. He hasn't missed yet, so don't expect him to miss ... It's what you expect and everything you don't expect."

And a Skrillex collaboration would definitely fit with that description. And perhaps we'll be able to get an answer at the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards, where both Skrill and 'Ye are up for Moonmen. Skrillex's reps have "no comment" on the collabo, and at press time, MTV News' attempts to seek comment from West's reps proved unsuccessful.

Kanye West Contributes 'White Dress' To RZA's 'Iron Fists' Soundtrack
Kung-fu flick's soundtrack also includes 're-orchestrated' Wu-Tang Clan songs and tracks from Ghostface Killah, Raekwon and the Black Keys. By Rob Markman

The wait for the RZA's kung-fu film "The Man With the Iron Fists" is almost over, but before the movie's release on November 2, the Wu-Tang Clan producer rounded up a few of his closest friends for the movie's soundtrack, dropping October 23.
Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Raekwon, Talib Kweli and the Black Keys will all appear on "The Man With the Iron Fists" soundtrack, along with Kanye West. According to the track list, which was revealed by AllHipHop.com, 'Ye contributes a track called "White Dress" on the Wu-heavy LP.
Yeezy's affinity for the Wu and RZA's original brand of dusty hip-hop soul is no secret. 'Ye called on the Abbott to produce and appear on his 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy as well as contribute the beat for "New Day" to he and Jay-Z's unforgettable Watch the Throne.

The "Iron Fists" soundtrack will be released on RZA's new Soul Temple Records and be distributed through Stax/RED Distribution. "We went and got some of the Wu-Tang original songs...we took out a lot of stuff that was in it, and we re-orchestrated it," RZA is quoted as saying. "Stax also came onboard to help us out, and they gave me about 10 of their famous Stax cues, songs from William Bell, from Isaac Hayes, from Mable John. So you're going to have a great time listening to this movie as a soundtrack."

On Sunday, RZA gave fans a taste of what to expect on the soundtrack when he dropped the thumping street jam "Built For This" featuring Method Man, Freddie Gibbs and StreetLife.

"The Man With the Iron Fists" stars Russell Crow, Lucy Liu, Pam Grier and the RZA himself.
