OFFICIAL Ye fka "kanYe West" x G.O.O.D. Music Thread - ¥$ (AKA YE X TY DOLLA SIGN) - VULTURES (NOW AVAILABLE WOWWWW)

Possibly new song this weekend?!?!? And announcement of the Ye x Adidas line :smokin
The guys who said this is a reliable source, who has been right on numerous occasions in the past including the Clique release time, Nicki Minaj being on "I wanna be with you" by DJ Khaled before it was announced, Jay Electronica being on a new Big Sean song (CONTROL), Holy Grail being MCHG's lead single, and other things
Makes sense to capitalize on the wedding and all the publicity he is getting
Kanye’s New Album “Mostly a Mixture of Soul Samples…Nothing Abrasive”
If you've read Kanye collaborator and producer Evian Christ's quote on Kanye West wanting "something that sounds a bit like Otis Redding, a bit like Mobb Deep," this report by Billboard should make sense. Billboard published a piece breaking down "everything we know" so far about Kanye's next project, and in it an undisclosed source further pulls back the curtain on the album's details. The outlet writes:
"A source says that as of two-weeks ago, there's 12 songs on the album. Out of six heard, it's "mostly a mixture of soul samples and tamed 'Yeezus'-esque darkness... nothing abrasive."
As far as collaborators and features go, Billboard also compiled and curated a list of "potential players" that may also be working on the album alongside 'Ye. The roster of potential contributors include the likes of James Fauntleroy, Young Thug, Rick Rubin, Q-Tip, James Blake, 808 Mafia, DJ Mustard, Young Chop, and more.

I don't want him to force soul samples on us either though. I'm ready to give it a listen

Young thug :wow:

It should be mentioned he also did studio sessions with The Weeknd, Pharrell, Jay, Pusha, and others. We know he records things in large bunches then picks and chooses after so well see.

That Drunk In Love Remix where someone combined both Ye's and The Weeknd's, that's the truth.

What the hell is this crap?

:smh:

Am I being trolled right now.... this can't be real... song is horrible.... straight up horrible.

The more I think about it, we didn't know how good we had it with GOOD Fridays

Beat sounds cool. I'd rather not hear anything incomplete though, unless it's just for a commercial like that.

dope commercial and the song fits it . . . as a standalone track it sucks tho, hope that was a yeezus session leftover that he just threw to adidas for some tv royalties
