I never understood the hate for 808's

I always saw it as an album Ye had to do just to get all the **** off his chest, his mom dyin and girl leavin etc. He really didnt care what people thoguht about it, that was how he was feelin, needed to get it outta his system to move on

Seemed like there was much more emotion behind it rather than his other albums

It was crazy cause I was going thru almost the exact same **** when that dropped and it really helped me through those tough times

As for the album being pushed back, yes Amazon has now listed a September 18th release date. Still no confirmation from Def Jam, but Mos Def has confirmed through his twitter.

This really is a Cruel Summer, telling us about the album and having us wait till the end of summer. O the torture!!!! Cruel, cruel, cruel

Haha ya, that's why I mentioned we are waiting till literally the end of Summer for this album. Last day of Summer is Sept. 21st.

In the article I read earlier, it stated that the cut-off day for Grammy nomination consideration is on Sept. 30. So expect the album to drop by then.

Remember Kanye said "every year gon' be our year, every year gon' be my year".
