You can't deny kanye's influence in hip hop culture right now. Look at all these cats wearing leather joggers or shirts with leather sleeves. That whole givenchy type style. Just high fashion being popular in hip hop culture period right now is all him.

YEA I seen a few clowns rocking that me personally I think its super lame IMO bringing back the 90's "Gutter Punk" style....Kanye has always to ME dressed like a clown & a weirdo even from the polo with the collar popped, blazer & the backpack...I rock with him tho I just don't know why people wanna dress like him my Senior yr 04' when he came out I remember dress down day this dude came to school with the polo & blazer he was laughed at all day...lol

Pretty egotistical statement to make to a young cat. You don't know what's popping with his generation, just as he doesn't yours. If he see's it fit to say Kanye is probably the most influential he's probably right.
I appreciate this post. Especially this.

I remember all the cats rockin the fake LV backpack

As far as kanye's style with the flannels, I hate that he's getting credit for that. I don't tie them around my waist because I'm not 5 years old and I can keep up with my clothes now but I've been rockin flannels heavy since late '09 and I would get clowned for my "farmer brown" button ups. :smh: now they're all the rage.

Don't even get me started on Air Jordan 1's and being obsessed with Kim Kardashian. 'Ye bit my whole style :smh:

Finally made it back home from Philly after a long weekend.

First off the show was super hype. The circle was SOOOO much fun to be in and be a part of. People moshed the hardest I've seen at a rap show minus maybe Odd Future. I made it through a good 15-20 feet of crowd moshing at the end.

The first time he informed everyone to go HAM during the drop, Travis Scott got on the rail right near us and jumped into the crowd, so that was pretty cool.

This was the second time I saw this show, as I was at Bonnaroo. I was underwhelmed by the Roo show besides for the BOTL encore. That made the show for me. So I went in with expectations of the show being the same. I still really enjoyed myself and I think he put on a great show. For an hour and a half time slot he did a good job and kept his rant shorter than usual.

Oh and I agree though, Kanye is THE best performer of our generation in my opinion, the only thing I would change about his shows would be adding a live band. That was my 9th time seeing him by the way.

And to the guy giving the other guy crap about what performance's he has seen... I won't say my whole list but I've seen Radiohead, Jack White x 2, Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake, I'd put Jack White over J**** and Justin... Kanye and Jack would be close, but I'm biased because I've been a Kanye fan longer than a Jack White fan, and hip hop is my first love so of course I enjoy it a little more.

whew imagine orchestra ye again WHEW

mike dean tho >>>>

thats all ye need TBH :pimp:

Don't get me wrong, I still love his shows, and Mike Dean is that dude.... But I just LOVE live bands at rap shows. Chance the Rappers band >>>>

But then again, it probably wouldn't work well for a lot of songs from Yeezus./Cruel Summer.. It'd be interesting to see at least.

Duece you're a very knowledgeable brotha whose opinion I and others respect, but with that being said you have got to stop coming in every thread where kanye is mentioned in a good light to come bash down other's opinion.

Well thank you for that champ.  I truly appreciate it, seriously.  It's good to see that some people still recognize an individual such as myself who is willing to help those less fortunate.  Unlike that other individual who I encountered earlier that for some reason wants to remain stuck on stupid.  That's his choice of course, and it just goes to show you that you can't even help someone who obviously needs help desperately but still refuses it.  That being said, no need to waste time on a lost cause.

For those that think Kanye is somehow or should be considered the greatest of our generation (even though a generation is at least 25 years by definition alone) and he hasn't even been around for half of that time by all means knock yourself.  It's good to see that you dudes are banding together no matter the circumstances..............reminds of the Jonestown followers.

I will say dude is one of the most influential artist ever. I ain't went a ye stan but this ***** made it cool to wear leather pants and all type of weird ****. Even got old man j**** wearing weird ****. I'm 25 and Beyonce is probably the best entertainer of my time. The idleness she has had over these females for all these years is scary

deuce king deuce king I got two words for you, Memphis Bleek. AND Jay was so hands-on with his career. Why you still talking like you some God or some ****?
