OFFICIAL Ye fka "kanYe West" x G.O.O.D. Music Thread - ¥$ (AKA YE X TY DOLLA SIGN) - VULTURES (NOW AVAILABLE WOWWWW)

alright the 4-5 songs that i didnt like on the album grew on me so much
i got this whole album on replay now :pimp:

for you dudes that are like me give the other songs a few more tries and it'll slowly grow on you trust

I listened to this all the way through like twice.. Overall, I do have to say, I was upset the album didn't live up to the hype it created. They released all the best songs before it dropped, & the songs that weren't released didn't have the same hype flavor. I probably have to listen to it a few most times to feel it, but as of now, I'm not too impressed.

The album is fiyah to me. Kanye doesn't just make one form of music for a certain demographic of people. This is the reason why he's so popular. Get over it people. The album was never meant to have 12 songs like Mercy on it. Kanye is in a whole other stratosphere sonically speaking and has been for a while. Everytime dude releases something a hear people complaining about the same sh*t. The album is tight.

Every major hip hop artist has a stan base but the Kanye legion take it to another level. ****** have their head shoved far up his *** but ain't even concerned...they'd rather just chill up in there.
Anyone peep one of the radio interviews where Pusha said all the left over tracks recorded for Cruel Summer would be able to supply 4 months worth of GOOD Friday tracks

Hope they see the light of day...because if not...

x 1,000,000

Future said he recorded 8 or so tracks with Ye.
Push said he recorded 20 or so tracks for the project.
Common said he did several tracks too, but only ended up making 1 to the final cut.

And I caught this on KTT - Engineer airing out some behind the scenes stuff, mainly on the delay. I'm taking it with a grain of salt, but seems like theres some truth to it.

This is definitely something I didn't want to hear about.

I know 'Ye is a perfectionist...but those joints better have been real piss-poor to not even get some shine as bonuses or whatever.

12 tracks on a compilation album b.

^The Wayne fanbase is lightyears worse than Kanye's.

Ditto to 12 tracks on a compilation album though. A compilation would normally have upwards of 18-20 tracks, and legitimately showcase ALL the artists on the label. Everything on here was done in passing.

It's a nice album especially after a few listens. I actually like songs i didn't at first, Bliss is damn good and I am not a big R&B fan, Sin City is weird in a good way

But like others have said unreleased songs are too good to leave out:

Christian Dior Denim Flow

Don't Look Down

Chain Heavy

Good Friday

It's trickled down to the whole group now too.

These ****** put out some mediocre music as a collective. I **** w/ a few individually but all this "G.O.O.D" music don't match the level of hype they get at all.

For the most part, the YMCMB groupies are youngins who don't know any better. I think most sensible ****** know by now what you're getting with Wayne.

'Ye got grown *** men ready to bust it open because he's sonically on a different stratosphere than everyone else and we should be blessed to listen to the musical messiah...or whatever.

I'll stop now.

This your opinion, to me Bliss alone> Anything CuDi ever put out :rolleyes

Bliss ain't even in JL's top catalog.... and you must not be a Cudi fan

Ok, for ya'll saying it's garbage, and I'm being serious, what's garbage about it?? To me it sounds like typical Cudi.... introspective lyrics of him thinking he can sing over a cool beat

Creepers is garbage and I **** with Cudi heavy. I think Cudi's absence has to do with ppl actually liking that song.

My humble opinion

Bliss >>>>>> this entire album.
