literally the first person ive ever seen say bound 2 was bad

I enjoyed the album front to back. I can understand why someone would be put off by the album but in reality its pretty damn good.
I really like keefs slurry drunken hooks

but playing this in the whip :smh: :smokin 4.5/5

I think it sound more like Nina Simone strange fruit than Billy Holiday but Billy is the original so I could be wrong

love it or hate it, ya'll got some strong feelings on something that has not even technically 'released' yet...

that being said, i've listened to it about 5 times today and I'm really feelin it.

Not Sure If Posted..

Kanye West's rumored take on director Mary Harron's American Psycho  made it's debut on a wall outside the rapper's Yeezus  album listening party in Los Angeles on Friday (June 14.)

The film, which was projected in similar vein to his "New Slaves" project, stars Kourtney Kardashian baby daddy Scott Disick and Kim Kardashian's best friend Jonathan Cheban. Spoiler alert: Disick plays the psycho killer, while Cheban stars as the drugged-out businessman who gets slaughtered in the end. The footage also shamelessly promotes the new Yeezus  album.

The video, filmed last week in Brooklyn, is said to be a marketing strategy to rack up sales of the album based on the popular Keeping up with the Kardashian's show, which stars both gents. Watch the video below, via Rap-Up.

I don't like Kanye West and can't be bothered to follow his music besides the stuff that gets forced down our throats; but I gave this album a listen because I saw the production credits and was intrigued. It's actually really good! The only disappointment was "Bound 2" which is exactly the kind of stale crap that makes me avoid Kanye. I like that he is angry and vulgar on this album since a lot of soccer moms, jr. high honor students, and Starbucks congregators loyally follow the guy. Eat that!

My favorite track is "Hold My Liquor". I like sounds that take me out of the physical realm. I imagine taking loads of entheogenic drugs and jogging a half-marathon to this song.

anybody know if kanye writes..... reason i say it is because it sounds like some **** he just came up with on the spot with little effort lyrically

with the production he has these songs could be so much more...i think id enjoy the instrumentals better

Saw this on /mu/ and it struck me for some reason:

It's his worst album lyrically and thematically.

There's almost no arguing this. It has to be, on both points. And for that reason, it only trumps Cruel Summer, IMO. I've heard the album 5-7 times.

I might just be real :smokin right now, but me and my friend just bumped the whole thing in his car. First of all, this HAS to be heard in a vehicle with a decent system in it.

Second, and I may be completely :smokin right now, but this album truly is an 808's part 2. It's his album about Kim , blood on the leaves is about Kim .... his album how he hates what her and her family stand for, I mean ever since he got her pregnant 'Ye has looked pissed all the time. It's his eff you to people of that lifestyle. Maybe I'm looking to deeply into it. But it ALMOST makes sense.....

This is the man who said "I just want to be a real boy." Being constantly under the spotlight with the Kardashians is not that...
