Yeah dean's a legend, hes production on ugk's to hard to swallow was amazing. Guys worked with ugk, kanye, devin the dude, z-ro, cudi, and geto boys. Deans pretty much worked with everybody from rap-a-lot also.

Hip-hop dx gave the album 4.5/5.......Idk I just can't get into this album, not my cup of tea, but those who can, enjoy
 
After a bunch of listens I find myself skipping a couple tracks while there's others I enjoy. I agree with whoever said RAM should've had a little more "On Sight" on it. I dig that song. It's an interesting listen just to see where Kanye's head is at these days. Some of the songs are pretty whack though.

The Mike Dean Interview was pretty awesome too. I hope dude writes a book someday.

i mean think about it, kanye had a temper tantrum cuz he was slotted low on a irrelevant "who's da hottest" MTV list. :lol:

one thing i wont front on this album, is da lyrics..hot

rhymefest all over it from what i seen on certain credits.

What this album needs is more tracks. 40 minutes with about 8 of it being instrumentals running at the end of tracks is pathetic. This needs to happen.

this thread is def down the middle about this album :rofl: im undecided as well.

so far new slaves and hold my liquor are pretty dope...still spinning it tho. it may be a while to decide how i feels about this.


indicud was kinda week. Red Eye with HAIM is a ******g DOPE track, that track stays on repeat..
 
I dont think the masses will
ever dislike a Kanye album.
Was never a HUGE fan, but
I always appreciated his craft.
I miss the "school" themed Ye,
but like all things, they must grow
and evolve.
