Pretty sure the purpose of the album was to make a **** load of money for Def Jam and Universal Music Group

The purpose of the music on the album being what it is? Because Kanye is an artist in the truest sense (so he says, I agree w/ him) and he has enough clout in the industry to be able to say "this is what I wanna put out" and have exactly that happen. Only a handful of recording artists are able to do that.

so he can put out whatever he wants and you'll accept it because it comes from kanye?

I don't understand why people want an album titled "GOOD *** JOB" so badly.

Just because it would complete "the series" doesn't mean it will be anything like the 1st 3.

Can't really agree with that because each album has bits and pieces of his old albums bound 2 is a perfect example he didn't have to have that on yeezus also some songs on wtt had that old kanye vibe. He gives peeks and flashes of old kanye every now and then. White dress is a good example

well we just disagree on that.

College Dropout sounded like a backpacker who finally made it and this was the album he spent his whole life making.

Late Registration sounded like that same guy adjusting to the fame and tryna still rep for the little guy. both very soulful.

Graduation was stadium music and that backpacker realized he was a world famous star and everything at that point seemed so effortless.

808's world famous star is going through some heartbreak and wants to bare his soul over synths and auto-tune.

MBDTF famous rap star is saying "can you please like me again? remember i'm still make great music?!" and it just sounds big and extravagant with an array of sounds.

WTT sounds like "man i'm rich. i'm black. i'm powerful...and i still make good music" there's lots of black empowerment there and he's fully detatched from the underdog status. some soulful stuff but

Yeezus..... ....anyway

Dudes ain't asking for a new SONG they want a whole ALBUM that revisits CD and LR...that's not happening. One song on an album that kinda reminds you of the last one is not the same thing as completely devolving just to drop "Good *** Job"

That's where I'm assuming a majority of those GOOD Friday cuts came from (without the last minute verses from guest artists)
