If i remember correctly when kanye revealed the album name officially via twitter. he stated it was ALWAYS "my beautiful dark twisted fantasy" nothing else.

The Kanye fan mantra toward people that don't like this album is "You only listen to Hip-Hop".

I got the feeling that 808s was just Kanye stepping away and doing something different and that Good *** Job would come after.

808s kind of came out of nowhere and I don't remember but it felt like it was pretty soon after Graduation.

Pull up sme of his mixtapes if that's what you're looks for. I tend to listen to his mixtapes more when I want vintage kanye instead of LR or CD.

If Yeezus received 4.5, Undun should have received a 7. That record is flawless.

Yeezus is good, not for everyone and definitely not a 4.5.

For me CD > LR > MBDTF >Graduation > 808s > Yeezus.

I'd switch LR and CD, but I agree with everything else... especially on Undun.

I like this album a lot, but it's by far his weakest.

This is a very good album for the open minded. It makes you wanna move. If you were a fan of or expecting "College Dropout" - "Graduation" Ye' then forget it. I actually think this album is one of his better ones production wise. I think "Blood on the Leaves" is alright. Y'all hype that track way too much.

There's no really weak songs on here but I don't like the way King Louie rapped and sounded on "Send It Up". Best song on here is obviously "Bound 2". That's vintage Ye'. That soulful-College Dropout/Late Registration Ye. Man what a great piece of work. I would recommend everyone in this thread to purchase. Has anyone got a pair of Yeezy 2's from this album!?

I dont get why everyone says Bound 2 sounds like it's from the CD/LR era.

If anything, it sounds most like a Graduation track. (Everything I Am/The Glory etc.) Imo lol
